Despite already seeing some much-needed progress, women in the workplace continue to experience various forms of discrimination or prejudice, albeit more subtly. Unfortunately, this unpleasant reality often leads many of these brilliant female professionals to become demotivated and ultimately inhibits their growth. Because of this, Dr. Tsitsi Hungwe has decided to use her expertise to help these capable individuals thrive through Higher Mountaintops, LLC.
By profession, the inspiring woman is a dentist, Certified Maxwell Leadership Team Speaker, Coach, and Trainer. In 2012, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan Technological University and pursued her dentistry educational training at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2016. After that, she served as a Public Health Dentist providing general dentistry care services to underprivileged communities as a National Health Service Corps Scholar or NHSC.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tsitsi has encountered countless setbacks and challenges. On top of that, she realized that there might be other women who have the potential to achieve great success but never had the confidence to make it happen. As such, she was inspired to take charge of her future and bring other females along; thus, Higher Mountaintops was created.
Asked what motivated her to pursue this path, she insightfully responded, “In 2021, I was searching, lost and lacking a sense of purpose and bound my own limiting beliefs in early 2021. In my search for more and seeking coaching, mentoring and networking support, I was able to discover my own purpose, own it and experience a 360-degree transformation. I know that I am here for such a time as this during this period of uncertainty around the world to help overwhelmed young female professionals move from merely surviving to thriving and be the change agent to help young women ascend onto their own Higher Mountaintop.”
Sitting as the organization’s founder, CEO, and visionary, she empowers women in the workforce, especially those in the field of dentistry, law, and chiropractic medicine, by providing them with the necessary tools and valuable resources. The thought leader insightfully explained, “We help overwhelmed young female professionals who desire coaching, mentoring and networking support. Helping them overcome challenges such as people pleasing, speaking up for yourself, saying no, expressing yourself in a professional manner while not suppressing your emotions, and age discrimination.”
Dr. Tsitsi added, “I am a Dentist who has walked the journey my future clients are walking through. Higher Mountaintops is truly groundbreaking because I am providing coaching, mentoring and networking support for young female professionals bringing together three groups of Young Professionals, Female Dentists, Lawyers and Chiropractors together, providing ongoing support – filling a much-needed gap.”
