Ever since Chef Eddie G dipped his toes into the industry, this trailblazing personality has always had an incredible relationship with food. As a matter of fact, his first encounters with food can be traced back to his days as his mother’s sous chef. At a young age, he would stand on a wooden stool and help her create and prepare food. He then developed a deep-seated love for the craft that Eddie took and worked at a cozy Italian restaurant in high school. This is where he witnessed the magic in feeding guests a good meal and the power it held in bringing people together. After graduating high school, this passion-driven personality attended the prestigious Johnson & Wales Culinary School to further hone his skills. When he finished his years there, he then set out and traveled the world working in hundreds of kitchens and a multitude of high end events.
Although these milestones already spoke volumes of Chef Eddie G’s talents and expertise, he continued to carve a path of his own, endlessly learning new and unconventional ways to revolutionize the craft. He participated in food festivals, cooking shows, and private parties, all while continuing his growth in the culinary arts. “There was nothing more interesting to me than pursuing a life of creating great dishes and memorable experiences for guests,” said Chef Eddie G. “Meeting new people, tasting new food, and learning new cultures inspired everything I had accomplished in the kitchen,” he added. Using these experiences, Chef Eddie G then breathed life into his passion projects: Chef Eddie Gs Kitchen and Locavore Ventures. He also wrote his first cookbook entitled Cooking Coast2Coast Cuisine and is finishing his second cookbook, Cooking with Chef Eddie G.
