Tyneil Allard was born and raised in New York City. She grew up in the Big Apple for most of her childhood raised by a single mother. The fashion entrepreneur’s family wasn’t very well off, so Tyneil knew the struggle and hardships of making ends meet very early. When she became a teenager, Tyneil and her family moved to California. On the west coast, she discovered her innate creativity as she continually exposed herself to the culture and the arts.
As Tyneil continued to embed herself with the local art scene, she found a need to unify creatives. She thought of creating a brand of t-shirts that would unite artists and creatives by giving them a common ground- a name that they could relate with and help them connect with each other. She came up with Tyneil Jene’s to support the local art scene.
All designs in Tyneil’s line of products are original and licensed. Tyneil Jene’s has not had it easy. From the beginning, challenges already presented themselves. “Plenty of not so sure moments and paths that had little to no light ahead,” narrates the fashion enthusiast. “My path was not always clear, the road ahead was not promised.” But Tyneil’s upbringing and a solid work ethic became instrumental in helping her weather the storms and successfully craft the brand that is now known today as Tyneil Jene’s.
Apart from its creative tees, the fashion brand also carries unique eyelashes called “Nyia Monees,” which is a cruelty-free 3D mink that comes with a beautiful casing. As a woman-owned business, the online shop also hopes to stand as an example for women everywhere who dream of starting a venture of their own.
