“The IVY” is not just a decor workshop. It is a story about two people, Yulia and Iaroslav, who decided to bring their shared vision to life by creating something unique that reflects their values, artistic passion, and love for craftsmanship. Together, we set out to establish a brand that would stand for individuality, creativity, and a commitment to quality.
Our story began in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, where we were both born and raised. Kyiv is a city rich with history and culture, where modernity meets deep-rooted traditions. This blend of the old and the new has been a source of endless inspiration for our work. The city’s vibrant art scene and its architectural beauty played a significant role in shaping our creative outlook. However, life had other plans for us, and fate eventually led us to Belgium—a country known for its stunning architecture, rich cultural heritage, and breathtaking natural beauty. Belgium quickly became our new home, and it was here that “The IVY” was born.
Why “The IVY”?
The name “The IVY” is more than just a symbol of nature; it holds personal meaning. It is actually an acronym formed from our family members’ initials. Each letter represents an essential part of who we are, symbolizing the unity, creativity, and love that drives our work. Through this name, we honor our family while reflecting the values of resilience, growth, and connection that we aim to bring into every piece we create. “The IVY” reminds us that our craft is deeply personal, just like the items we design for our clients.
Our workshop in Belgium became a place to express our creativity fully. Surrounded by the rich artistic traditions of Ukraine and Belgium, we found inspiration in the beauty of nature, architecture, and the fusion of old-world charm with modern minimalism. This influence is evident in our signature pieces—the mirrored cubes.

Our mirrored cubes have become the centerpiece of “The IVY.” Each cube is meticulously handcrafted, combining sleek modern design with high-quality materials and attention to detail. What started as a hobby for Iaroslav and me has now evolved into our work. From an early age, I was passionate about interior decor, drawn to creating beauty in everyday spaces. Iaroslav, on the other hand, has always had a gift for craftsmanship, building things with his hands and experimenting with materials. When we combined our passions, “The IVY” was born. Our workshop reflects our journey together as partners in life and art.
