She has been working as a licensed Esthetician for 12 years now and also teaching entrepreneurs of all age groups the art of esthetics for 7 years. Back in the days, Brandy Jinks always longed for finding her “thing” in her entrepreneurial journey which made her turn to the esthetics field. The year 2009 marked the beginning of her career in the beauty industry when she found her true calling.
In her initial days in the industry, she was getting familiar with Holistic Esthetics that helped her develop the foundation of her protocols, approaches, and philosophies, that she passes onto her students. Apart from being highly regarded as an expert esthetician, Brandy Jinks also shares a very inspiring entrepreneurial journey in the education sector.
Within a year in her career, she launched her own Mobile Spa called Beauty and Wellness, which later developed a signature extension catering to little girls of 6 to 10 years of age. A few years later in 2017, she also introduced a vegan product into her Beauty and Wellness line that gained her the much-deserved title of an insightful entrepreneur.
The Florida-licensed Estheticians also vividly work as an educator where she offers Advanced Aesthetics Training in advanced skincare and body sculpting to beauty technicians and aspiring entrepreneurs of all age groups. Jinks specializes in Corrective and Progressive Skincare in the area of Medical Aesthetics and Holistic Esthiology. Her expertise is being used to educate students of varying preferences adhering to the beauty industry and she has taught at numerous beauty schools across Miami Dade and Broward County in Florida.
One of the most important breakthroughs of her career was when she started Skinformation Academy in 2019. An institute catering to talents of all age groups and aspiring entrepreneurs, where she offers her insights and wisdom to estheticians around the globe. Her idea proved to be revolutionary in the beauty industry that inspired countless aspiring entrepreneurs into pursuing their idea in the beauty business with the right expertise at hand.
Skinformation Academy is basically a beauty school but what makes it ‘not-so-basic is the practical approach of Brandy Jinks backed by her years of knowledge and experience that has made her a renowned personality in the industry. The academy focuses on teaching skincare, body sculpting, makeup, and nail training while also providing end-to-end training on executing and operating your own beauty business.
Her understanding of the esthetics goes beyond the traditional practices in the industry which she uses to add inclusivity in her teaching methods. With her tailored teaching courses, her students are offered the liberty to choose what best suits their needs. As a lead instructor and director of Skinformation Academy, Brandy Jinks also offers personal training sessions to assist students with their entrepreneurship and career advancements.
Her teaching ideologies are based on self-care and a genuine desire to share her professional expertise with her students. She has been dedicatedly and tirelessly working for her students to ensure they are gaining confidence and clarity on their professional journeys. Brandy Jinks also believes that teaching has given a purpose to her passion for skincare. She draws her motivation from a highly inspiring quote that she once saw somewhere that reads, “be to others what you wish you had” and that worked as a life-changing moment for Brandy Jinks that motivated her to share her knowledge with others.
Along with being a highly renowned educator in the beauty industry, she is also a member of the National Coalition of Estheticians Association (NCEA) and Society of Dermatology Skincare Specialist(SDSS). As far as her achievement goes, she was awarded the title of “Milady Master Educator” for her inspiring role in teaching and guiding students. She was also honored with a Business Woman of the Year Award by IOTA Phi Lambda Sorority Inc in April 2021.
