The Copy Queen: Tarla Makaeff EMPOWERS Women to Write Iconic Copy

Best known in the industry as the Copy Queen and founder of the Iconic Copy Course, copywriter Tarla Makaeff is leveraging her vast experience in freelance copywriting to add value to the lives of other women who aspire to pursue an online business and learn both the strategy and copywriting behind it. Online business is not for everyone, but those who believe they are called to the profession need to be armed with the right skills and tools, and Tarla is making it happen through her upcoming online courses: Social Star and Direct Response Launch.

Tarla Makaeff specializes in online business and copywriting, adding a high level of self-love coaching in order for her clients to acquire a powerful business mindset. Additionally, she also empowers her clients by teaching them the important rules behind effective direct response, email marketing, funnels, social media, and digital product creation. These skills take time to learn, and Tarla is passionate about journeying with her clients until she sees them succeed in their respective fields.

“I want to empower women like me who have felt lost or like they don’t have a home,” Tarla said. “We can create homes within ourselves. We can be heart-centered and feminine but also driven and successful businesswomen all at the same time. We can live fully expressed lives by tapping into our unique essences and owning our truth.”

Ultimately, Tarla Makaeff aspires to support individuals who are driven to take control of their professional destinies. By teaching them to pursue or establish a purpose-filled business that they are passionate about, she believes that more and more individuals will confidently leverage the power of digital technology to create something worthwhile.

“Online business is challenging and will require perseverance. There are no guarantees. Not everyone is going to have a substantial following or become huge overnight, but you can still make a significant impact and have a thriving business,” she said. “I firmly believe in massive, consistent action. If you don’t give up, you will eventually find your way.”

Despite her current success, Tarla Makaeff is living proof that no one is exempted from life’s biggest adversities. In 2014, her mother passed away, and it left her heartbroken, alone, and confused. Having lost her father at the age of 1, she has always relied on her mother for support. She was her source of strength and inspiration at the same time. Losing her was very crippling, but she knew she needed to push herself to move forward, prompting her to pursue restorative actions to brave her overwhelming grief. She tried Pilates, yoga, fashion, and beauty-related hobbies. It was during that time of much-needed healing that she accidentally stumbled upon a beauty opportunity, which later inspired her interest in online business.

“Everything changes after you lose your parents; life is short,” Tarla revealed. “Looking back, my career, while extremely lucrative, had been about trading time for money. I wanted to do something that really mattered and could change the world. I didn’t feel like I was achieving impact and change with copywriting alone.”

Today, Tarla is focused on helping people elevate their online careers. She equips them with how to write copy that connects and converts, how to start an online business, how to practice self-love for the ultimate business mindset, and how to create their own online courses with realistic expectations of their success. “I have bundles of content coming,” Tarla Makaeff happily shared. “And I am so excited to share what I know so women can lift each other up, go after their wildest dreams, and become forces in this world! I’ve never worked so hard in my life — I am so proud of what I have accomplished.”
