Teamwork and Connection: Business Boosters

By: Bryan Laughery

When a business loses its real-world element, it’s hard for the staff to connect, and it puts a leader in a tough position to move the company forward under a unified vision. Stories are a universal language—they’ve been a part of hundreds of cultures for thousands of years, documenting the human experience in simple and complex ways—and they have a place in your company. When your business is built on principles that benefit a majority but isolate the minority, you are losing options to streamline the work that gets in the way of your entrepreneurship. Eryn Anitavi has been part of that business minority—she’s a neurodivergent visionary—and she’s learned that a truly good business outcome benefits everyone. She trains her team at Sapphire Partners to benefit your whole company by providing instant value in any capacity. Sapphire Partners provides chiefs of staff and creative executive support to your business to turn mundane day-to-day tasks into positive momentum, and Eryn hires her team from a pool of the best Sapphire Academy™ graduates.

Before Sapphire Partners started, Eryn was networking at a conference when she was asked if she could spare even five hours a week to help a newly opened business. From that question, she realized that she could raise up her own team to help other entrepreneurs live her own business philosophy. This philosophy is grounded in two of Eryn’s favorite personal quotations: “Build a life you don’t need a vacation from” and “Work in your Brilliance,” both calls to streamline your communications and workflow so you can put more focus on the idea that got your business running. Sapphire Partners team members are regarded as Sapphires, after the gorgeous gem. They add immediate value to your team and fit like a stone on a ring. To Eryn, a Chief of Staff does not produce info like a Chief of Operations, but rather paves and rewires lines of communication to cut all fluff in your day-to-day operations.

Sapphires, as well as the company’s proprietary AI-based Clarity Matrix™, prioritize resource management and network cultivation for you, but they also bring real-world stories and experience to the workplace. Sapphire Partners offers fixed ‘subscription’ pricing at different capacities; your Sapphire can be fractional, full-time, online, in-person, whatever level you want. Just know that your bottom line will rise like a tide.

On a personal level, Eryn wants to inspire other leaders as a prominent neurodivergent voice in the world of business. She’s spoken at panels, conferences, and special events about inclusivity and neurodivergence, like the WomenTech Global Conference and Collaboration Conversations with Regina Bergman. She took Sapphire Partners to The Blox, a small business reality competition show with dozens of contestants. Going further with that, you won’t find a business owner with more specific and actionable plans for their publicity future than Eryn. She wants to complete a TEDX talk on subtext in personal and professional relationships, and she’s already planned for its success, aiming for a full TED Talk.

Eryn could not have developed the golden network she has now without recognizing her own brilliance, and that recognition came with the joy of her autism diagnosis. Straying from ‘normal’ is a superpower if you can quell the kryptonite. Eryn has more stories to tell than most because she embraces her outside-the-box thinking. On the business end, she’s been entrepreneurial since her age reached double-digits, going from selling family eggs to windows and doors to comprehensive executive support. She’s experienced the ups and downs of having people on your payroll, and her leadership philosophy is highly developed.

Outside of business is where Eryn shows her creative resume. At one point in her childhood, she learned so much about French Naturalist John Audubon that she was able to correct a historian’s account of one of his specific life details. She sells men’s corsetry at the various steampunk conventions she attends around the country, dressing the part for each one. Eryn has left the hospital post-birth and post-surgery before a doctor advised because she wanted to be at the ribbon cutting of her first sold business and go home to pack for Paris, respectively. She’s wrestled with Vikings—perhaps inspiration for her intrepid employee/client retreat plan, a Sapphire Partners castle. The best offense is a good defense—roller skated, and even written a screenplay!

Real-world experience is precisely what drives innovation. It’s being able to step back and introspect that levels up your business, and you need the time and space to do so as an entrepreneur. Eryn is no stranger to the work of starting up a new business—working multiple jobs, finding every shortcut possible, and facing intense stress—and her company is the solution for you to show your brilliance. Get in touch if you want to streamline your business and take on some executive support from a gleaming Sapphire. At least get her in your network for a nap in the castle!
