Many of us throw around the term “million” lightly, despite not knowing how much that really is. According to a YouGov 2022 study, last year less than 0.5% of the USA made a million dollars. So, whilst the wealth gap is perceived to be increasing, we sat down with a young self-made entrepreneur who not only has built a million-dollar business but multiple, all whilst in his early twenties.
Omar’s Background
“Well known and liked, but never really felt I really belonged” is how Omar describes his schooling years. Despite being a B/C student in high school, Omar had a natural sixth sense when it came to business. By age 10, he had stopped going to the park to play with his friends and instead started washing cars. In high school, he stopped playing football as he was too preoccupied with selling sweets to his classmates. Networking and developing his sales skills was something Choudhury was focused on at an early age, and he tells us not following the crowd is what got him to where he is.
How Connects Clout Formed
Having generated millions of dollars for his first agency, Omar began to consult other 7-9+ figure entrepreneurs on their social media branding and growth strategies. From talking with these high-net-worth individuals, Omar realized that their mindset was completely different from the clients who were scared to even invest $1K into his service.
So he sought after the highest ticket service he could sell and formed Connects Clout – The top media and PR consulting agency for the world’s elite entrepreneurs, businesses, and influencers. With their inside information and connections, Connects helps these individuals create the top 1% of social media pages.
Advice For Others
“You are a product of your environment. If you aren’t around winners who have the lifestyle you want, you need to break free. No one when I was growing up had Lamborghinis or private jets. And I think early on I realized I couldn’t act like the, perhaps that’s why I always observed but never followed the crowd in school. My advice to others wanting to scale is to start to surround yourself with people who have the life you want. Study not only the wins of the world’s top 1% but also their losses. You’ll find that many of them have regrets that money cannot solve. Remember success leaves clues” Omar advises.
