As a Staff Software Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, Sasidhar operates at the critical intersection of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI). With a career spanning high-stakes industries—from automotive systems to payroll and human capital management systems—his work is marked by a noteworthy combination of technical rigor and forward-thinking design.
From Cloud Systems to AI-Driven Impact
Holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University – Commerce, Sasidhar has architected and deployed scalable, cloud-native systems across AWS and GCP environments. But what truly defines his journey is a growing dedication to artificial intelligence and applied machine learning, particularly in domains that can positively influence society, such as identity, healthcare, and security.
Researching the Future: AI and Human-Centric Systems
A dedicated contributor to AI research, Sasidhar has participated as a co-author in ongoing academic efforts, with manuscripts under consideration by journals such as SN Computer Science. These works explore innovative approaches to GAIT-based human identification, leveraging deep learning models such as Modified U-Net and parallel CNN-BIRCH hybrid segmentation. The aim is to advance biometric systems that are not only accurate but also more adaptable to real-world environments where precision, privacy, and ethics are crucial considerations.
