Samuel Scott’s journey is one of incredible strength and perseverance. Scott has set the standard for early-life success in the digital age, from selling promotional services to Minecraft micro-influencers to being hired by an A-tier media corporation and eventually running his own multi-million dollar media corporation. What sets him above the rest is his commitment to integrity, personally and within his business. Unlike many others in the media industry, he strongly believes in conducting proper business and providing real-world value to his clients.
From his early days promoting small YouTubers on his personal Minecraft server and working at a local restaurant, Scott didn’t have it easy. He grew up in a small working-class household in Vermont, far from the glamor of luxurious vacations and exotic cars. Even as a child, he recognized the detrimental effects of the traditional workweek on his parents and vowed to ensure they never had to work again.
Throughout his time operating YouTube promotional services, he slowly realized his eye for detail in the world of full-scale marketing. He ventured into social media management, scaling various Instagram and TikTok personalities from zero to upwards of 2 million followers. It was through this work that Scott received recognition from various large-scale media agencies, causing him to seek an official job at one of the corporations. Scott was soon after employed to work for one of these corporations, earning a high five-figure salary straight out of high school and absorbing knowledge at an unprecedented rate. Scott says, “It didn’t take long for the money to go to my head. I had a horrifically overinflated ego and was spending money left and right on ridiculous things. It was my first time being introduced to that level of wealth, and I just wasn’t mature enough.”
Scott was still living with his parents at the time, and considering his irresponsible purchases, it didn’t take long for his parents to realize the amount of dough he was bringing in and kick him out of the house. Wouldn’t you do the same if you figured out your 18-year-old son was making twice your salary? As Scott puts it, “It was a real eye-opener for me at the time. I was thinking, wow, I am kind of a d**k. I’d been strayed from my path and needed to move out and get my shit together. My mom deserves better.”
It was around this time that Scott realized the amount of hands-on work experience he’d acquired throughout his time in the industry and decided to set out to found his agency, Social Sultan, specializing in model management. It wasn’t easy at first, but soon enough, he found himself scaling both new and experienced models to high six-figure months by utilizing various organic advertising techniques he’d developed while working in the industry.
Today, Scott continues to run his full-package media agency, offering explosive growth services to models, artists, musicians, and more. He has also been reported to invest in various digital assets. He looks to continue to grow his agency and provide education and motivation to his Instagram and TikTok following. He remains hard at work on his mission to empower others to realize their potential in the digital age, once stating, “I believe anyone can make a satisfactory living in this digital climate. Education is readily available to everyone, and as long as you have a phone with an internet connection, you have no excuses for not achieving your dreams!”
