That’s a complex issue, indeed. Could you tell us about the breakthrough solution that IB2 is bringing to the table?

Of course! At IB2, we utilize a revolutionary process developed by our CEO, Yves Occello, that takes poor-quality bauxite ore, which is usually considered waste, and transforms it into high-quality bauxite suitable for alumina extraction. This new process not only eliminates the need for pristine bauxite but also drastically reduces carbon emissions and red mud waste generation. With a partnership of my dynamic entrepreneurship and Occello’s world class engineering, our goal is to make alumina production cleaner and more environmentally friendly without compromising on quality or efficiency.

Our process involves a unique combination of advanced technologies, including innovative separation techniques and proprietary chemical reactions. By extracting impurities and optimizing the composition of the ore, we’re able to convert poor-quality bauxite into a resource that’s virtually indistinguishable from high-grade bauxite. This not only results in reduced CO2 emissions during the refining process but also leads to a 70% decrease in red mud waste.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive. We’ve been working closely with alumina refineries to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of our process.
