Model and Women’s Rights Activist Shero Carroll Launches Fashion App Called Sysmic

Activists have genuinely shaped the world, pushing forward their stand on significant issues to make life more worthwhile for everyone. Shero Carroll is a model, fashion influencer, and women’s rights activist who has been proactively using her voice to speak for women who are hindered by prejudice and unjust laws. Today, she brings the activist spirit into the fashion industry with the mobile app called Sysmic, aiming to reshape luxury brand distribution and make it more affordable and available for all.

“Sysmic makes luxury and designer goods more affordable and more available than ever before. Our prices are the lowest the market has ever seen and our variety the largest. As someone who loves designer fashion, I realized buying used designer goods is still expensive for a lot of people, so I wanted to create a solution for this problem,” shared the founder.

On top of managing her game-changing app, Shero Carroll is also the founder of the modern-day movement called Burning the Bras, where she rallies people together to fight for reform on the current laws restraining women’s rights. Last year, she landed a partnership with Change.org and led a petition on beachwear or bikini regulations in Myrtle Beach, South California. The effort gained national media attention and further amplified Shero’s name in the liberation movement.

Recently, Shero Carroll has turned her attention to helping the individuals and organizations fighting against the newly passed Texas Abortion Law. Shero, along with other activists, is pushing for information dissemination because they believe the newly passed law to be one of the most restrictive laws against women’s rights.

Shero Carroll has also taken her brave spirit both on runways and in front of cameras as a model. She has worked with major fashion brands, such as Forever 21, Alo, Pretty Little Thing, Demode Studios x Billie Eilish, MOON x Kendall Jenner, and Justin Beiber’s new clothing brand called Drew House. Furthermore, she has been featured in Playboy New Zealand’s social media platform and has been mentioned alongside top models Irina Shayk and Kate Moss on eTalk, where she was recognized for her unmatched street style.

In addition, Shero Carroll doesn’t just stop at being a canvas for other designers through modelling. She is also a prominent fashion influencer who helps brands achieve goals by amplifying their mission through social media platforms.

“Clothing brands reach out to me for change and something different outside of the usual blogger style mentions and pictures,” Shero Carroll shared. “I wear their shirts as dresses; I can make a hoodie look like something you could wear to a business meeting. When the clothing company asks me for my size, I often tell them XXL when I’m small just so I can wear and style the pieces differently than any other fashion influencer. I like to make myself stand out and ride the line of looking stylish or ugly,” the model-influencer added.

In everything she does, Shero Carroll ensures that she is making a difference. Be it as an entrepreneur, model, in influencer marketing, or her activism. Whatever it is, Shero gives her all, and she doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
