The <K-Lifestyle USA 2022> event will be held from September 30th to October 2nd at American Dream, New Jersey, the second biggest mall in the United States. KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) New York is excited to host this special showcase where attendees will have the chance to experience and test more than 100+ trendy lifestyle brands from South Korea. KOTRA New York is a state-funded organization that introduces outstanding Korean products to the US market. This organization works as a bridge to connect businesses between the US and Korea.
What Korean Brands will you meet here?
Korean products, such as automobiles, cell phones, semiconductors, and high-end household appliances, have already been acknowledged as the best in the US market. At the event, audiences can see products from more than 100 Korean companies, focusing on brands related to daily life, such as beauty, food, fashion, and household goods. It will also be a place for life-friendly products that are not high-tech and expensive to display their high functionality.
Among the participating companies are 15 eco-friendly companies and seven social enterprises developing special products for social minorities, such as braille books. Some of the products on display will be donated. The purpose is to join the global trend in which companies should be more mindful of the environment and the interest of society.
What can the audience experience here?
This event taking place on the 1st floor of the American Dream, will be open to the public without admission fees. Samples of hundreds of products in three fields: K-beauty, K-food, and K-lifestyle, will be displayed. Audiences will not only be able to freely look around various items but will also have the opportunity to test and receive complimentary samples of some of the products.
Every product on display will have a QR code, allowing visitors to be able to purchase the items online. Products that offer a discount code will be available for a discounted price. Customers with online orders of $20 or more will be offered a chance to draw a prize at the raffle station. The prizes include a 65” LG TV, American Dream water park tickets, and premium cosmetics set. In addition, there will be a photo booth where anyone at the venue can take complimentary photo prints with their name engraved in Korean!

Do you enjoy K-Pop, K-Drama, and K-Film? At this year’s event, you will be able to experience both Korea’s traditional culture along with Korea’s Pop culture. To celebrate this year’s event, we will be opening for three days with Korean traditional dance, a makeup show, a Tae Kwon Do performance, and a K-Pop dance!
Due to global pop stars such as Psy and BTS and dramas and movies that dominated Netflix and Oscars, the Millennial & Z generation of the world is increasingly interested in Korean culture. They are actively absorbing Korean culture by visiting Korea in person. <K-Lifestyle USA 2022> will be a good opportunity for those who have only experienced Korean culture through Netflix and YouTube.
