Creating a world that everyone can be proud of is a collective effort, and Joshua Saadi is taking that seriously by championing giving-back initiatives that impact the world directly. Through the Polo Spreads Love initiative, Joshua Saadi and his beloved therapy dog, Polo, lead a movement to unite the good-hearted people of the world to spread love and solve some of the world’s most prevalent issues like hunger, poverty, disease, homelessness and others.
Polo Spreads Love allows everyone to spread love and make the change they want to see in the world. The initiative has products and merchandise it sells through its e-commerce website. For each product purchased, Polo Spreads Love gives back to someone who really needs it, and so far, the platform has given over $200,000 in donations and affected more than 20,000 lives. “All of the proceeds from Spread Love merchandise allow us to affect someone’s life directly. When you wear a Spread Love product, you can wear it proudly, knowing that you contributed to a cause that is bigger than us all,” Josh Saadi said.
Since 2013, Polo Spreads Love has been at the center of lighting up the world and proving that things can be better if everyone is willing to make things better. Together, Joshua and Polo have traveled to different parts of the world to directly impact lives and touch them positively. They have also partnered with some of the most notable bodies and organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, the Bowery Mission in New York, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Angels Community Outreach, Miami Rescue Union, Central Union Mission and many other organizations. “My dog Polo makes our brand unique. He is the point of difference. He is the superhero,” Joshua said.
Making his dog, Polo, the main character in Polo Spreads Love’s activities out of his hobbies of visiting hospitals, having fun with people and making people feel good. Since 2012, the dog has won the Real Men Wear Pink Award five times and raised over $70,000 for Breast Cancer Research. He has also volunteered thousands of hours at hospitals and nursing homes across the country. Describing the moment that changed everything for him, which inspired him to devote all his time and energy to giving back to the world, Joshua said: “The defining moment was definitely my first time at the Breast Cancer awareness walk. When Polo jumped into the survivors’ arms, that moment changed my world. I speak about it often. My new life was born in that very moment.”
Over the next few years, Joshua Saadi aims to keep impacting lives positively and inspiring people to take action by donating and giving back when they can. Polo Spreads Love has made significant impacts over the years, but Joshua believes more can still be achieved, and he’s challenging everyone to be committed to making moves.
