Jijo’s career is decorated with numerous accolades and accomplishments. This early success was just the beginning. He co-founded AAJ Media Productions, a company with a presence in the US, India, and Singapore, and has since produced several short films and music videos. His work has been recognized globally, earning over 30 nominations and awards at international film festivals, including the prestigious Madrid International Film Festival, London Lift-Off, and Cannes International Film Festival. One of Jijo’s standout projects is the production and direction of India’s first 2D animation movie for mature audiences, available in both Hindi and English. Jijo’s journey has not been without its challenges. His life has been a testament to the 5 Ps: Place, People, Pursuit, Passion, and Purpose. Moving from India to the US for his studies was a significant challenge. The cultural shift and academic demands were daunting, but Jijo overcame them with sheer hard work and a willingness to adapt. Today, he embraces new environments with enthusiasm and curiosity.

Unlike many of his peers, Jijo built a diverse network of friends from various nationalities. This multicultural exposure enriched his perspective and made him fluent in seven languages, a testament to his adaptability and love for learning. Leaving a well-paid job to start his own venture was a leap of faith. The uncertainty and initial setbacks were tough, but his love for filmmaking kept him going. He describes the filmmaking process as a state of flow where time stops, and pure joy takes over.

Jijo’s decision to marry his profession with his passion has been the happiest combination in his career. He views filmmaking as an endless journey with countless roads, driven by the power of storytelling. Living with a passionate sense of pursuit today is Jijo’s mantra. He emphasizes the importance of doing everything with love and passion. For him, “Let’s Make Today” is not just a motto but a way of life.

Jijo believes in the transformative power of love and passion in one’s work. “Do everything with love. If you can’t do it with love and passion, then don’t do it; find something else suited to your calling,” he advises. This wisdom is a cornerstone of his teaching philosophy.

Looking ahead, Jijo envisions himself as a refreshingly new and engaging teacher inside AAJ Film Academy, helping aspiring filmmakers achieve their dreams. His goals include building a personal brand and expanding the reach of AAJ Media Productions. He aims to make AAJ Film Academy for filmmakers, produce films for diverse audiences, and bring storytelling into enterprises.
