I met Victoria Shiverskikh at one of the fashion events, and she immediately captivated me with her vibrant and original personality. She later invited me to her show, which took place in New York at one of the city’s premier buildings – Sky. I was deeply impressed by her talent, and it inspired me to write an interview with her.

What inspired you to create the collection?

Victoria: I can definitely say that my brand is a reflection of individuality and self-expression. The idea of seeing not boring and overused swimsuits on the beach but those that make a statement, answer the question “Who am I?”, and reveal femininity, sexuality, and style inspired me in creating my brand. The brand name carries meaning in each design of my collection, symbolizing undressing one’s individuality through self-expression. In my collection, I wanted to show that swimsuits are not just something to wear on the beach but also something that highlights each woman’s individuality

What part of the creative process do you enjoy the most?

Victoria: I love the entire creative process, especially when the flow of ideas starts, and you begin sketching one after another. Choosing fabrics, combining colors and prints – all of this brings me immense joy.

How do you incorporate customer feedback into your collections? Where do you publish it?

Victoria: I believe customer feedback is one of the important aspects to pay attention to. I always strive to do everything possible to improve and make things better for customers. There’s a reviews section on my website. Currently, we are working with eco-friendly fabrics, 100% recyclable, which is very important for the environment and makes my product more in demand.

What challenges do aspiring designers face and how can they overcome them?

Victoria: The main problem for aspiring designers is the lack of self-belief. There are always ups and downs; everyone starts from the bottom, and many can’t cope with the difficulties and give up. Therefore, the most important thing is to believe in yourself, believe in your brand, and have 100% confidence in your product.

What are your future plans for promoting the brand, and can models get into your casting?

Victoria: Currently, my brand is moving with the LGBT community. For our last show at New York Swim Week, we took a transgender model, and my goal is to unite all women who wear our swimsuits, whether by birth or choice. We select models by type that aligns with the brand’s visual.

Do you plan to open a store? Where can customers buy your swimsuits?

Victoria: Yes, we plan to launch our brand in department stores in New York, and we’re also planning to open our own store in Miami in 2025. Currently, all our swimsuits can be purchased online on our website undressedboutique.com. We also frequently hold pop-up events; our next pop-up event will be in September during New York Fashion Week.

What advice would you give to aspiring designers and models who want to enter the fashion world?

Victoria: The most important thing is to have an idea and believe in yourself.

Undressed Boutique is a brand that carries meaning and style. Every woman can find her unique swimsuit that highlights her individuality and style. Vika is determinedly moving towards conquering the swim industry, and I’m confident her brand will be popular in the future fashion industry.
