It is the passion project of entrepreneur and visionary Billy Wenk, who was exposed to cars at a young age due to his father’s garage. From then on, his love and interest in vehicles grew.

One of his biggest goals was to own an exotic car dealership; however, he had no startup capital. Despite the setback, the determined young man was dead set on fulfilling his dream. Because of this, he worked for hours on end and read as many workshop manuals as he could find on repairing cars to scale his expertise in the field. 

Finally, his efforts paid off, and through internal sales, he was able to self-fund the company. He was only 25 years old when he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey with HBi Auto. As a result, he had to learn the ropes as he went along, making sure to celebrate his victories and learn from his mistakes. 

Two years after the company was created, Billy Wenk met Evan Wiles, a fellow car enthusiast and an expert in European service and detailing. Before long, the pair became business partners. At the time, it was only a small service shop and had four employees. Billy managed sales, business operations, and working on cars. Whereas Evan ran the shop, helping wrench, and detailing cars. Troy Allen was the only full-time tech, and Mary Vlahos helped with all of the administrative work.

In 2019, the brand started gaining momentum and had grown immensely. The introduction of its sales and detail department has contributed significantly to this incredible accomplishment. Aside from that, the team’s commitment to providing their clients with world-class customer service and top-of-the-line luxury vehicles helped solidify the venture’s reputation as a leader in the industry. 

One year later, the company reached the $10 million revenue mark, proving the viability of its unique business model. Currently, the enterprise has 30 employees and is on its way to achieving $22 million in sales. On top of that, it has started laying the groundwork for opening up its second shop. 

The brand’s monumental success is a testament to the unrivaled business acumen and leadership of Billy and Evan, as well as the passion of its entire staff. In the foreseeable future, HBi Auto aims to expand its operations and have 10 locations across the country.
