Born and raised in a middle-class family in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Harish Paruchuri is a Big Data professional with over 8 years of diverse work experience with top multimillion dollar enterprises in the US. He is currently working as a Senior AI Engineer in the Department of Information Technology with Anthem, a health insurance provider in the USA. Harish received Masters in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering-Guntur (India) where he achieved a noteworthy GPA of 3.69 and 3.1 respectively.
Harish completed his elementary education at Kakatiya Public School, a highly regarded neighbourhood school and moved to a nearby city due to the lack of a secondary school in his hometown. He completed his secondary education at Bhashyam Public School, a highly prestigious and well-respected boarding school. He scored a remarkable 91% in secondary education and an even better score of 92.7% in junior college.
Harish has been a brilliant scholar who has enjoyed participating in both scholastic and co-scholastic activities throughout his academic career. He enjoys sports, particularly cricket and basketball. Basketball has even earned him a certificate of achievement. He received an award at a zonal quiz competition and won an entertainment quiz at a cultural festival. He has effectively organized numerous intercollegiate cultural festivals and acted in films with social message. He volunteered for HOPE, a college-run initiative that focuses on providing medical supplies and attention to the elderly in a nearby village. Harish’s commitment and initiative were much appreciated by the college administration.
Harish approaches challenges with wisdom, calm and out-of-the-box thinking which has helped him handle difficult and demanding situations effortlessly. He is always focused on achieving the goals even if it requires going the extra mile. He regularly publishes scientific articles in domains such as AI, IOT and Machine Learning. To date, he has published 17 articles in well-known journals like Scopus Indexed Journals and other exceedingly recognized peer reviewed journals which have been cited over 170 times. He is on the editorial board of many journals and provides peer review feedback to other distinguished scientific authors. His article “Conceptualization of Machine Learning in Economic Forecasting” concludes that machine learning is a great model to use in economic forecasting for quick, consistent and accurate data to prevent future adverse events. His article “Rethinking Food Sufficiency with Smart Agriculture using Internet of Things” discusses the various uses of IOT in optimizing agricultural yield.
From being born in a service class family, where his father worked for the State Government as an Engineer and mother being a housewife, to being established in the US as a coveted technology architect, prominent author, and a successful entrepreneur, he certainly has achieved monumental success. He firmly believes that persistence, dedication, and diligence is the key to success. Harish has certainly carved his own path through his innovative thought process and out-of-the-box thinking.
