With her most recent business, Boom Bang Fine Foods & Cocktails, chef Elia Aboumrad, an experienced individual in the culinary industry, has not only succeeded in her field but also introduced her unique flavors to Henderson and Las Vegas. Chef Elia’s distinct background, which includes Lebanese heritage and Mexican birth, has greatly influenced her culinary philosophy and approach.

Chef Elia has an exceptional academic and professional background, which has defined her way into the culinary industry. She got her education at the prestigious Ecole Lenôtre, where she trained under a faculty of World Champion chefs. Through dedicated effort, she earned the prestigious “Grand Diplôme” from L’école Lenôtre, a testament to her mastery in pastry, covering an array of skills from bread making to ice sculpting, butchering, hunting, cooking, charcuterie, sugar art, and beyond. Remarkably, she stands as the sole student in the school’s history to obtain all 34 certifications. In Paris, her outstanding skills attracted the attention of the renowned Joël Robuchon, who she quickly succeeded in serving as his first female sous chef. Her time in Paris was a formative experience that helped her develop her cooking skills and philosophy. 

After leaving Paris, Elia moved to Las Vegas to open Joël Robuchon’s restaurants at the MGM Grand. After that, Elia took over The Café at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, and under her leadership, the hotel obtained five-star recognition and its fourth AAA Diamond. Her TV appearances, which included a stellar performance on Bravo’s Top Chef and Top Chef: All-Stars, brought her more recognition and highlighted her impressive culinary skills and adorable personality.
