Acclaimed Chef Ricardo Lory Marks a Significant Milestone in His Career Through Chef Global’s Kitchen

If there’s one thing that brings us all together, it’s food. Various cuisines all over the world are packed with stories and diverse cultures that manage to make them unique and interesting, especially to outsiders. Chef Ricardo Lory aims to bring Haitian cuisine to the forefront through his very own food business called Chef Global’s Kitchen.

Chef Global’s Kitchen is a food truck that features flavors that are inspired by French and African influences, all combining to create bold and spicy Haitian dishes that most people from the United States have never tried before. Chef Ricardo Lory grew up with food and cuisine his entire life. He was born and raised by his Haitian parents, who both dedicated their lives to running a gourmet restaurant.

Their restaurant would often highlight the bold flavors of their home country’s dishes, and much of that authenticity truly shines in Chef Global’s Kitchen. Chef Ricardo Lory was trained by his parents in the culinary arts ever since he was ten years old. Eventually, once he grew up, he also received formal mentoring from Executive Chef Kevin Stout, who is one of America’s best chefs.

Chef Ricardo Lory managed to pique Stout’s interest while he was working his first ever job at Food Glorious Food. The acclaimed chef instantly saw Ricardo’s culinary potential, which was accentuated by his remarkable leadership in and out of the kitchen. Eventually, Ricardo finished at the top 1% of his class and decided to join Walt Disney World Resorts as a chef.

Ricardo fondly recalls his time over at Disney, where he was exposed to a wide variety of cooking styles and techniques from various countries. His passion for food motivated him to travel to other countries in order to experience what their cuisine had to offer.

Once he amassed a lot of experiences, and once he tasted a host of delectable flavors, Chef Ricardo Lory decided that it was finally time for him to share his home country’s culture. So he established his own food truck and catering company in the form of Chef Global’s Kitchen.

His business has become a staggering success, best known for its diverse food from 17 other countries. Chef Ricardo Lory has always stayed true to his brand’s motto that goes “Flavors from Around the World,” and many of his patrons are greatly thankful that they can experience the cuisine that only Chef Global’s Kitchen can offer. 

Chef Ricardo Lory always puts his best foot forward whenever he crafts his signature dishes. Whether it be food from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, or Italy, his customers can expect nothing but the best from the world-renowned chef. 

“My journey to becoming the owner of my franchise was marked by numerous milestones,” says Chef Ricardo Lory. “My experience has provided me with numerous significant opportunities for myself. These opportunities ranged from business ventures with established foundations such as Disney and catering for a branch of the NAACP,” he added. 

Through these experiences, he was able to hone his craft and receive six culinary-based certifications, such as a Culinary Arts Nutritional Degree and a certification from the American Culinary Federation.

His passion for food is incredibly infectious, and much of it shows through the amazing dishes that he has created with Chef Global’s Kitchen. As he marks this current milestone, Chef Ricardo Lory hopes to be able to bring more and more global flavors not just to the United States but to the rest of the world as well.
