NEW YORK, June 2026 – When Iuliia Bazhan looks at her son, she sees a person with a particular way of thinking, a specific kind of focus, and a future that depends heavily on whether the people around him can recognize what he’s capable of.
That conviction became Evoautism Foundation, a New York nonprofit organization dedicated to autism awareness, neurodiversity, and autistic potential.
The foundation launches today with an important idea. The way we see autistic people shapes the opportunities they receive. And right now, most people notice the challenges before they notice the potential.
Evoautism Foundation wants to change that, through stories, art, and culture.
The First Project, Autism Through Talent Exhibition
The foundation’s first initiative is a photo exhibition called Autism Through Talent, a public visual storytelling project that brings together the stories of accomplished autistic individuals and connects them to younger autistic children who share similar ways of thinking and engaging with the world.

The idea is simple. When a child sees someone like themselves building a career, creating something meaningful, and living a full life, they begin to imagine a future for themselves.
Each exhibition station pairs one accomplished autistic adult with several younger participants who share their patterns of interest. Visitors see where someone ended up and how they got there. The challenges, the turning points, the support that made a difference.
Why Autism Visibility Matters Now
1 in 31 children in the United States is identified as autistic. That number keeps rising, and public conversation about autism still tends to begin and end with difficulty.
Evoautism Foundation is building a cultural space where autistic people are represented by their strengths, their stories, and their full humanity. Through autism education, cultural exhibitions, and public storytelling, the foundation works to shift how society understands and supports autistic children and adults in New York and beyond.
“We don’t want to talk about autism only as a problem to solve,” says Iuliia Bazhan, Founder of Evoautism Foundation. “We want people to see autistic individuals the way I’ve learned to see them, as people with real gifts, real futures, and a particular way of experiencing the world that deserves to be understood, not just managed.”
