$2.6 Million Paid for Marko Stout Sculptures

The Berlin nightclub Tanzen owned by the Müller Meyer management corporation resold two of famed New York artist Marko Stout’s sensual female sculptures for $230,000,000 Euros (approx. $2,600,000 USD) to a private German collector. The sculptures were originally purchased by representatives of Müller Meyer in 2018 from the Miami art dealer Jason Samuels to be placed at the entrance of nightclub, however after plans for the new club fell through in 2020 the sculptures were resold for a private collection.

Marko Stout is an artist who is taking New York by storm. His artwork is like nothing you’ve seen before. He combines the raw and erotic with the gritty and urban in his pop narrative approach. This article tells you more about him and his work and distinct style.

Marko Stout’s Distinct Style

Marko Stout is a beloved New York-based artist who has been celebrated for his inventive work, which takes the gritty urban world and fuses it with the erotic aura of feminine ferocity. Marko creates these powerful works of art with a raw pictorial pop narrative approach, which adds a touch of vibrancy and an element of vitality to each piece.

Marko Stout is known for his urban pop-art, which depicts New York City in a raw, bold image. His signature bold-colored works are meant to depict life on the streets of NYC. His work is featured in several prominent collections including The Art Institute of Chicago, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Marko Stout’s paintings are a peek into the psyche of the urban generation. His subjects’ personalities juxtapose with raw, urban environments, showcasing the duality of the urban setting: It’s both individualistic and unpredictable. And although Urban Pop Surrealism is his brand, he also has a knack for abstract portraits of females. Marko’s art celebrates both the physical and spiritual bond between man and woman, while addressing society’s pervasive thirst for individualism with its myriad of distractions.

His work is saturated in vibrant colors and an energetic pop narrative that makes it identifiable all over the world. Marko’s distinct style fuses both urban grunge and the erotic aura of female power into one, creating a uniquely identifiable mark on popular culture.

Marko Stout is one of the most talented artists in the modern art industry, and his art is continuously praised and collected by some of Hollywood’s most celebrated celebrities.
