FLY Miami Art: Love as a Medium, Unity as a Mission

Founded in Miami, FLY Miami Art is the artistic practice of Facundo L. Yebne, known professionally as FLY. What began as a personal journey of healing has evolved into an internationally recognized body of work that uses art as a language of connection. At its core, FLY Miami Art is rooted in one defining principle. Love. Love as action, love as unity, and love as a force capable of transforming both public spaces and human relationships.

Working with the universally recognizable rubber duck, Yebne elevates an everyday object into a contemporary symbol of joy, resilience, and collective strength. Thousands of individual ducks are assembled into large-scale installations that demonstrate how unity can amplify impact. Each work is built around the idea that love becomes stronger when shared.

One of the most recognized works by FLY Miami Art is UnityBeak, a monumental public installation composed of more than 14,000 mini rubber ducks. The sculpture depicts two giant rubber ducks standing side by side in a gentle kiss, symbolizing partnership, trust, and unity. Commissioned by Lincoln Road and the City of Miami Beach, UnityBeak has become a landmark installation, drawing local and international press, thousands of visitors, and turning a pedestrian thoroughfare into a space for reflection, interaction, and shared emotion.

Another defining work, Proud Love, is a ten-foot heart sculpture constructed from nearly 7,000 rubber ducks. Installed in Miami Beach, the piece quickly became a visual emblem of inclusivity and acceptance, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. More than a sculpture, Proud Love sends a message: Love belongs to everyone, and visibility matters.

Beyond large-scale public installations, FLY Miami Art extends into collectible works designed for private spaces. Yebne creates limited edition wall artworks using tiny resin ducks embedded into wooden canvases. These works preserve the same emotional language found in his public art and have attracted collectors internationally.

His work has been exhibited across major platforms during Miami Art Week 2025, including Art Miami, Context Art Miami, Spectrum Miami, and Aqua Art Miami.

In 2025, Yebne received international recognition when he was awarded Fourth Prize in Installation Art at the XV Florence Biennale, officially known as the Biennale Internazionale d’Arte Contemporanea e Design. Presented in Florence, Italy, the award was conferred by the Biennale’s international jury and recognized the conceptual strength and execution of his installation practice. This milestone has placed FLY Miami Art firmly within the global contemporary art conversation.
“I didn’t choose ducks; they chose me. I just gave them a voice,” says Yebne. “Love is the message. Unity is the result.”

Philanthropy is central to FLY Miami Art. Through donated works and partnerships, Yebne actively supports organizations focused on LGBTQ+ advocacy, youth empowerment, and community wellbeing. His art consistently functions as both a visual experience and a tool for positive social impact.

Looking ahead, LOVE has been formally established as the central branding and conceptual direction for FLY Miami Art in 2026. This new chapter builds on Yebne’s existing themes while sharpening the focus on love as a universal connector that transcends language, borders, and belief systems.

What distinguishes FLY Miami Art is its participatory nature. These works invite viewers to engage emotionally, physically, and socially. Public spaces become meeting points. Art is a shared experience rather than an isolated object.

As FLY Miami Art continues its international expansion, the mission remains clear. To create iconic works that connect communities, collectors, and cultural institutions through a shared language of love, unity, and resilience.
