Isiah Thornton’s story begins in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was born and raised. From the tender age of seven, he harbored dreams of becoming a supermodel, drawing inspiration from America’s Next Top Model (ANTM). His dedication to his craft was evident even as a child, as he practiced his walk up and down school hallways. At 24, Isiah embarked on his modeling journey in 2017 by moving to Orlando, Florida. There, he participated in several photoshoots to build his portfolio. In 2018, he returned to New Orleans to further his career, joining Launch Model Management in the summer of 2019 to refine his walk and poses.

The fall of 2019 marked a turning point in Isiah’s career when he participated in his first runway show during New Orleans Fashion Week. From there, his career gained momentum. In October 2019, he walked in LAFW, followed by Dallas Fashion Week in November of the same year. His efforts were soon recognized, earning him a nomination and a feature on the cover of a fashion magazine. February 2020 brought another milestone as Isiah walked into NYFW, solidifying his presence in the industry. His rising star status was further acknowledged in 2021 when he attended the BET Awards, making an indelible impact and receiving an invitation to a Snoop Dogg party, where he walked the red carpet and was interviewed by numerous reporters and bloggers.

In 2022, Isiah’s career continued to soar with his participation in Paris Fashion Week. However, 2023 brought an unexpected challenge when he fell ill and was hospitalized, rendering him unable to walk due to a severe foot condition. Despite this setback, Isiah’s resilience shone through. With the support of his family, friends, and loved ones, he recovered and was ready to return to work by mid-2023. By July, he was back on his feet, attributing his recovery to his faith and determination. In early 2024, Isiah successfully completed NYFW Spring/Summer 2024, walking in six shows, and is now gearing up for Miami Swim Week.
