Grand Avenue to Welcome New Drive-thru SQRL Convenience Store

Unfolding a new chapter in retail convenience, Grand Avenue is all set to welcome a game-changing concept: SQRL’s innovative drive-thru convenience store. This forward-thinking venture will nestle comfortably into the premises of the erstwhile Hardee’s, located at 249 W. Grand Ave, thus symbolizing an evolution of the local marketplace.

To say that our modern society is consumed by convenience might be an understatement. Today’s consumers not only prefer the comfort of their homes but if need be, when they venture out, they insist on not parting from the warmth of their cars. This precise consumer mindset has spurred the popularity of the drive-thru model, especially in the convenience store industry. The SQRL drive-thru convenience store, an ambitious evolution of this model, offers its customers the comfort of staying in their vehicles while availing of their favorite products and services.

This isn’t just another convenience store. SQRL aims to give residents an entirely new retail experience, fashioned for an era where convenience is king, and time is an incredibly precious commodity. As pioneers in their field, SQRL is unearthing and testing innovative store concepts. This latest drive-thru format is another feather in their cap, a nod to their commitment to enhancing customer experience. Their ethos is simple: allowing customers to enjoy their favorite products and services all from the safety and comfort of their vehicle.

This model also brings a wave of inclusivity, catering to seniors, individuals with disabilities, or limited mobility who often find it challenging to get out of their cars to shop. Parents with children in tow would also appreciate the luxury of a drive-thru window, helping them bypass the ordeal of managing children while shopping or the guilt of leaving them unattended in the car.

The traditional convenience store model, an unchanged constant for many years on Grand Avenue, is now ripe for a revolution. The work has already commenced at the soon-to-be-transformed Hardee’s location. While the completion date remains a projection, Tristan Acker, SQRL’s head of the acquisitions and construction department, remains hopeful about a launch within a year.

“This concept is a novelty in the Arkansas market, quite a deviation from our conventional fuel stations,” Acker said, “This will be more akin to a drive-thru scale convenience store. It’s a unique model, which allows customers to order items from the comfort of their car and receive them at the window, much like any other drive-thru service.” The new Grand Avenue store is set to be the brand’s inaugural foray into Hot Springs. “Hopefully, we can expand our footprint with more stores in the Hot Springs region,” Acker added.

Thus, Grand Avenue braces itself for a drive-thru revolution. As SQRL prepares to roll out its first drive-thru convenience store, it promises to bring an unmatched shopping experience, convenience, and a touch of modernity to the city’s retail landscape. As Grand Avenue anticipates the arrival of its new guest, the residents are not just spectators but active participants in this evolving narrative. Here’s to a new chapter in the story of Grand Avenue, powered by SQRL.
