A Doctor Truly Prioritizing Patient Care

Dr. David Jernigan, Founder of the Biologix Center for Optimum Health, is a published author, an innovator of healthcare technologies, and a world-renowned leader in the treatment of chronic illness. However, most people don’t know that he has walked the same road as the patients he sees each day.

“Thousands of people have come to my clinic and read my books, but few of them realize the health adversities I have experienced,” Dr. Jernigan says. “Today, I have regained virtually perfect health, but previous diseases and injuries fuel my passion for helping everyone who comes through our doors.”

Dr. Jernigan understands chronic illness and pain

Dr. Jernigan grew up in good health. In his teens, he remembers clearing land, cutting trees, and hauling them away under his arm. “The older workers on the job shook their heads and told me I shouldn’t do that to my back,” he says. “But I didn’t listen. I was six-foot-seven and it felt good to be strong.”

After clear-cutting, Dr. Jernigan worked riverboats on the Mississippi and oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Suddenly, he found himself laid low by paralyzing back pain. “I was airlifted to a hospital, unable to walk or even stand,” he recalls. “I didn’t know whether I would ever walk again.”

During the stress of that time, Dr. Jernigan took up smoking. “I was able to go weeks without a cigarette,” he reflects, “so I didn’t think I was addicted, but as a result of the habit, I developed respiratory infections leading to two life-threatening bouts of pneumonia.”

Dr. Jernigan’s health issues continued. After surgery to remove benign tumors from his spine, he spent 30 days recovering in a military hospital, then another 30 days on morphine to alleviate the pain. Three months later, when he could finally exercise, he struggled to lose the 45 pounds he’d gained during recovery. Later, Lyme Disease wracked his body with chronic fatigue, brain fog, cognitive dysfunction, joint pain, muscle spasms, and heart palpitations.

“Night after night, I felt my heart beat erratically and then stop completely,” Dr. Jernigan recalls. “I would reach up to check my carotid artery for a pulse and would find none. After a bit, it would race and settle down. After facing many nights wondering whether I would live to see the morning, I decided dying was not the worst thing that could happen. Thankfully, I figured out it was from Lyme disease and was able to eliminate it, using my systems.”

While trekking through the jungle south of the Mexican border, Dr. Jernigan was thrown from his horse. In the fall, he broke several ribs, fractured his pelvis and wrist, and suffered from whiplash and a concussion. After that incident, he endured six months of agony before he was able to heal.

“I understand what you are going through,” Dr. Jernigan remarks, talking about the suffering of others. “Myself and so many of the over 10,000 patients my doctors and I have treated are living proof of the healing power of the treatment philosophies and techniques of Biological and Bioregulatory medicine. All of the staff at the Biologix Center pursue significance in life by helping those people, who have fallen through the cracks of medicine, to achieve the greatest potential to regain their quality of life.”

The Biologix Center offers the latest advances in Biological and Bioregulatory medicine

The Biologix Center utilizes advanced alternative adjunctive testing, treatments, and therapies to heal treatment-resistant chronic illnesses. This form of health care seeks to identify and treat the root causes of chronic illness and seeks to restore the most optimal structural and functional integrity of the body so that deep, lasting health can be achieved.

Dr. Jernigan combines his first-hand experience in chronic pain with a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, a doctorate in chiropractic medicine, and post-graduate studies in natural and anthroposophical medicine and biological/bioregulation medicine. He is a board-certified physician in natural medicine and botanical medicine with an emphasis on chronic infections and chronic illness.

Dr. Jernigan’s contributions to medical science include Biospectral Emission Sequence testing, Fractal Frequency Modulation, NeuroPhotonic Therapy, Induced Native Phage Therapy, and NeuroCardial Synchronization. These innovations in precision adjunctive testing help eliminate much of the guesswork common in health care. Instead of waiting weeks for lab results, this testing enables doctors to access the body’s emitted biophotonic information to help diagnose the structural and functional issues going wrong in the body in real-time, and implement treatments immediately.

Over 90% of the patients come from other states and countries, having exhausted all other treatment options. When conventional pharmaceuticals and medical treatments fail, The Biologix Center’s comprehensive, individualized approach offers hope. Treatment at Biologix Center for Optimum Health consists of one to three-week intensive programs of care, with daily in-house testing and one-on-one natural treatment therapies with one of their doctors, as well as 4-5 hours of daily therapies of different types. All of the treatments are non-pharmaceutical, are carefully selected to work without causing unwanted side effects, and facilitate the correction of key issues interfering with the proper functioning of the body.

These programs of care are a maximally applied effort to achieve enough true correction of problems that are fueling the illness so that when a person leaves the center, lasting improvements can be achieved. A person is given a protocol of continued treatments at home, and progress is monitored in virtual doctor consultations to modify what is being done to keep a person moving towards the quality of life they seek. Depending upon a person’s response to the treatments, the doctor may recommend a return visit for a shorter follow-up treatment session a few weeks or months later, since only so much can be accomplished over the phone. Compared to mainstream, conventional medicine, patients get much more one-on-one treatment time with the doctors and therapists — commonly exceeding 40 hours in total — in a two-week program of care.

The Biologix Center for Optimum Health in Franklin, Tennessee offers innovative, cutting-edge treatments such as Induced Native Phage Therapy. Dr. Jernigan states, “I have been innovating new ways to test and treat the toughest cases of chronic illness, and I’ve never been more excited about the possibilities for helping improve the quality of life so desperately needed in people. Our new drug-free treatments are so effective that we are seeing results in people who have never been helped before.”
