In addition to her books, Rene Urbanovich was recently chosen for the 2022 Tedx event in Mount Rubidoux, California. The Tedx talk entitled “Creativity is like Breathing” expresses the importance of breath to the body in correlation with creativity as absolutely vital for society to thrive. The Creativist™ worldview centers on our unity as a species; from that point, deep meaning and significance arise daily. After digesting her Tedx talk, one might ask themselves this underlying question, “Can we misuse creativity?” Ultimately, one can gain a new appreciation for all things creative, which is not limited to artistry or invention but includes problem-solving and caregiving — any human interaction that might serve others and connect people to their deeper selves and others.

Rene is not only an award-winning speaker and author but also a poet who believes in the power of the unconscious as transformative—deviating from current self-care hypes that rely heavily on outcome and product over process and unfoldment. According to Rene, poets have guided kings and cultures for millennia, and she longs to keep this trend alive and at the forefront, claiming that most artists and inventors have always been true Creativists™ since the beginning of time.
