Saboteurs Slinking in the Shadows: Kris Driskill’s New Podcast

If you’ve ever caught yourself procrastinating or straight-up spiraling into self-doubt, you’ve likely met one of your inner saboteurs: those sneaky little voices convincing you that you’re not ready, not good enough, or that you need to ‘just fix one more thing’ before taking action. Sound familiar? Well, Kris Driskill, award-winning self-mastery coach, is here to help you call them out and finally take back control.

Driskill, the CEO and founder of Gilded Within LLC, has turned self-sabotage coaching into an art form. Her method not only helps entrepreneurs and creatives break free from limiting beliefs, but it also makes the process engaging and entertaining.

Announcing “Saboteurs Slinking in the Shadows:” A Visual Podcast Unmasking Self-Sabotage

Launching this fall, “Saboteurs Slinking in the Shadows” is a podcast that combines humor, wit, storytelling, and deep transformation to help online entrepreneurs, small business owners, and creators recognize and overcome self-sabotage – something most aren’t even aware of.

“Self-sabotage can feel heavy, but it doesn’t have to be,” Driskill shares. “I want to bring awareness to these patterns in a way that’s empowering, insightful, and even fun.”

Each quick-paced, whodunit-style episode will uncover which saboteur “suspect”  is behind a guest’s struggles. Through humor, coaching, and storytelling, “Saboteurs Slinking in the Shadows” makes awareness and transformation engaging while helping listeners break free from their inner critics and hidden self-sabotaging beliefs.

After a relaxed, heartfelt guest interview, Driskill goes to work creating a theme and transforming the interview into a show. Imagine SNL meets TED Talk meets the inner voices causing your stress. She helps her guests laugh their way through self-imposed limitations because when you can recognize your saboteurs for what they are – dramatic, over-the-top caricatures created by your survivor brain, you take away their power.

Meet the Saboteur Squad: The 10 Characters Running the Show

Driskill has personified the 10 Saboteur Archetypes from her work as a PQ® Coach, each with their own personality, quirks, and excuses. And the best part? She has their mugshots up on a crime board and brings them to life in her own playful, theatrical way.

M.A.R.T.Y. (Makes Awful Remarks To You) – The Judge Saboteur, constantly criticizing and keeping you in a cycle of stress.

C.I.N.D.Y. (Conflict Is Not Doable Y’All) – The Avoider Saboteur, dodging discomfort and keeping things “zen” by avoiding important tasks and tough conversations.

C.A.R.O.L. (Controls All Realms of Life) – The Controller Saboteur, who needs to be in charge at all times and finds vulnerability a challenge.

S.I.M.O.N. (Success Is My Only Need) – The Hyper-Achiever Saboteur, tying self-worth to achievement and never feeling satisfied with success.

A.R.T.Y. (Always Right Thank You) – The Hyper-Rational Saboteur, who dismisses emotions as distractions and prioritizes logic.

L.O.I.S. (Look Out I’m Screwed) – The Hyper-Vigilant Saboteur, constantly projecting worry, scanning for danger, and expecting the worst.

K.E.N. (Keeps Everything Nice) – The Pleaser Saboteur, who overgives to others while neglecting their own needs and seeking external validation.

S.I.A. (Stays In Action) – The Restless Saboteur, always chasing the next big thing but struggling to build consistency or follow through.

P.I.T.A. (Perfection Is The Answer) – The Stickler Saboteur, obsessed with flawlessness and struggling with anything that isn’t “just right.”

M.A.R.I.A. (Misunderstood And Righteously Into Anti-Responsibility) – The Victim Saboteur, dwelling in feelings of unfairness and blame while waiting to be rescued.

And if you let these characters run the show for too long… B.O.B. (Business Owner Burnout) appears. Donning pajamas as day wear, skipping personal care, and opting for binge-watching shows over working toward your goals, B.O.B. is the final consequence of letting self-sabotage take over, leaving you stuck, exhausted, and unmotivated.

From Troubled Youth to God’s Scriba: How La’Sha Wright Rewrote Her Destiny

By: Miriam T. Green

Life’s darkest storms often forge the brightest guides. Some souls don’t just survive their battles—they transmute pain into purpose, becoming lighthouses for others lost in the same tempests. This is the story of La’Sha Wright, whose early years echoed with the raw verses of a blues anthem: street fights, simmering anger, and desperate bargains with God. Today, she stands as His commissioned scribe—an artistic oracle rewriting broken destinies through ink and revelation. Her book, Infinite Wisdom: Illuminating Poetry and Words of Encouragement, is more than pages; it’s a lifeline for the weary, born from her own metamorphosis. Her journey from chaos to clarity proves one thing. When God calls you, miracles happen.

At 21, everything changed. In 2016, La’Sha heard God’s voice. It was clear and strong. He told her to write a book by 2017. She listened. She published Infinite Wisdom that year. This was no ordinary task. It was her divine assignment. La’Sha calls herself “a writer for God.” Her purpose? To turn pain into power. To guide broken hearts toward healing.

Her past gave her this power. She knows what it means to feel forgotten. To battle rage. To make deals with God in desperation. She walked those dark streets. She fought those ugly fights. But she chose a new path. That troubled youth is now a beacon of hope. Her story is raw. Real. Unfiltered. That is why millions trust her. She is not preaching from a pedestal. She is pulling you up from the trenches.

La’Sha’s signature method is pure alchemy. She turns “blood into ink.” In Infinite Wisdom, she writes that poetry is “the forgotten language” of truth. Her words do not sugarcoat pain. They transform it. A childhood scar? She calls it “soil for beautiful trees.” Betrayal? It becomes “fuel for courage.” Generational trauma does not own you, she teaches. You rewrite it with purpose. This is her gift. She takes the screams of the past and turns them into hymns for the future.

Stars like Oprah would champion her because she is real. No filters. No fake smiles. La’Sha’s work bleeds authenticity. Her YouTube channel, her podcast Empowering You, and her blog InfiniteKnowledge—all echo one message. Rise from your ashes. She is the mindset coach for those ready to fight back. Her art is her weapon. Her faith is her compass. She paints. She writes. She speaks. All to light the way for others.

Infinite Wisdom is more than a book. It is a movement. La’Sha tackles racism, injustice, depression, and self-doubt with spiritual fire. She calls greed “a terrible thing.” She says pride “costs you everything.” Her truth-telling shakes your soul. Why? Because she lived every lesson. She fell. She rose. Now she lifts others. Her authority comes from the scars she carries.

Consider her words on justice: “If you want peace, work for justice. It cannot be for one side alone.” Or on self-love: “God never told you to impress people. Only to love them.” This is not fluff. It is a battle cry. La’Sha Wright speaks with the weight of heaven behind her. When God commissions a writer, nations listen. Her pen is her prophecy.

Today, she is a celebrated author, artist, and speaker. But she never forgets her roots. Infinite Wisdom is dedicated to those “feeling like quitting.” She tells them, “Don’t bury your failures. Let them inspire you.” Her life is proof. Your past does not own your future. God’s grace does.

Claim your transformation:

Infinite Wisdom by La’Sha Wright is your blueprint from pain to purpose. This book does not just inspire. It rebuilds souls. Consider buying it. Let her words rewrite your destiny.

Why Resume Design Matters: Gdoc.io’s Approach to Job Applications

By: Daniel Fusch

You’ve sent the applications, tailored the cover letters, and clicked “submit” with cautious optimism. But then… nothing. No callbacks. And before long, doubt may begin to creep in, leading you to wonder if you’re just not what companies are looking for. However, what if the issue isn’t you—what if it’s your resume?

The Resume Filter You Didn’t Know Existed

The reality is that a significant number of resumes are rejected before they are ever seen by a person. Research suggests that approximately 75% of resumes are filtered out by applicant tracking systems (ATS), those software gatekeepers that scan and sort resumes before a human has a chance to review them. According to Jobscan, ATS software often struggles with reading resumes that feature complex layouts or are submitted as PDFs, meaning a poorly formatted resume might never even be considered by a recruiter.

And even if your resume does manage to make it past the software, recruiters often spend just a few seconds reviewing each resume. Studies indicate that recruiters spend an average of 7.4 seconds scanning a resume before making a decision, according to Ladders. That’s less time than it takes to tie your shoes.

So, when your resume is cluttered, overly designed, or hard to follow, it’s more likely to be dismissed quickly, regardless of your qualifications.

Design Is the New First Impression—But It Shouldn’t Be a Burden

For many early-career professionals and recent graduates, there’s increasing pressure to make their resumes visually appealing. However, many don’t have design expertise and shouldn’t be expected to.

Surveys have shown that a majority of employers reject resumes with typos or messy formatting, with up to 58% of hiring managers reporting that they turn away resumes due to these small but noticeable mistakes, according to CareerBuilder. This reflects the reality that attention to detail can be more important than a unique design in the hiring process.

This is where platforms like Gdoc.io come into play. Unlike many resume tools that offer flashy templates, Gdoc.io provides free, easy-to-use Google Docs resume templates that are clean, editable, and designed with ATS compatibility in mind. There’s no software to install, no accounts to create—just straightforward templates for people who want to improve their resume quickly and efficiently.

A Small Change That Can Open Big Doors

Consider the story of Renee, a marketing assistant who had applied to over 40 jobs with little response. “I assumed I wasn’t qualified,” she recalls. “But then I updated my resume using a cleaner layout I found on Gdoc.io. That week alone, I got three interviews.”

It wasn’t her experience that changed—it was how she presented it.

Gdoc.io: Building a Better Way to Apply

Without massive advertising campaigns, Gdoc.io has become a widely used tool for job seekers across the globe. Their growing library of over 1,400 templates has been built based on user feedback and a focus on what works. The emphasis is on creating resumes that are clear, easy to read, and designed to impress—not overwhelm—ATS systems.

Unlike platforms that overwhelm users with choices, Gdoc.io focuses on structure and substance. Every online resume template is designed with real hiring trends in mind.

Looking Forward, One Resume at a Time

The job market won’t slow down, but tools like Gdoc.io help make sure you’re not left behind because of an easily avoidable formatting mistake. As the platform continues to grow from user demand—not marketing noise—it’s clear that sometimes, the effective solutions are simple.

If your job search feels stagnant, maybe it’s time to revisit your resume. It might not be what you’re saying, but how you’re presenting it that’s holding you back.
