How Hanna Shanar’s Passion for Music and Medicine Is Making an Impact on Others

After devoting yourself to the field of medicine, it’s close to impossible to think of anything else— But Hanna Shanar has achieved an outstanding balance that allows him to thrive in his medical education while being a published best selling author, researcher and CEO of a music company that reaches millions of listeners and brings opportunity to dozens of artists around the globe.

Hanna is both a celebrated author, future doctor, and CEO of a music label by the name of Rap Group Management. Throughout his multifaceted career, he has published a novel and published research with some of the top medical experts globally, all while growing a two-million-follower network for musicians looking to get their art into the world at a fast-tracked pace.

Born on August 8, 1998, in Houston, Texas, Shanar grew up in a humble home with three sisters. Growing up, Hanna had an affinity to all things that would usually challenge kids his age. He loved puzzles, maths, science, and found a strong desire to find solutions to complex problems. Shanar attended Lawrence E Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas, and graduated with honors in 2016. At the age of eighteen, he started his research career after getting the chance to work with Heinrich Taegtmeyer, a Forbes-acknowledged cardiologist who once made the top 25 list. Hanna spent three years under Dr. Taegtmeyer’s guidance and mentorship and would become pivotal to a 2019 American Heart Association publication entitled “Glucose 6-Phosphate Accumulates via Phosphoglucose Isomerase Inhibition in Heart Muscle.”

The following spring, Hanna Shanar completed an undergraduate degree at the University of St. Thomas with a major in biology. He would enter medical school the following year at the age of twenty-one, four years earlier than the average medical student. Nevertheless, his love for research and publications took full form one year after the start of his medical studies when Hanna wrote and edited an entire 113-page book that focused on the origin of existence and the meaning of all human life.

Most recently, Hanna Shanar released his book entitled “A Search For Truth,” which came out on Amazon on September 5, 2021. Since then, the title has broken through, becoming the number one release in almost ten categories, including Religion and Philosophy, Religious Studies Education, Game Theory, Theosophy, Religious Fundamentalism, and New Thought, to name a few. “A Search For Truth” has also become one of the top three all-time bestsellers in four categories and top five in four others.

Despite all he has going on in his medical and research-based literature bubble, Shanar has balanced all of that with his venture into the music industry. As the CEO of Rap Group Management, his work and leadership have been vital to building up the career of a handful of hip-hop artists and more. He hopes to use his platform to create more opportunities for rising songwriters who have a story to tell and a message to share with the world.

Moreover, Hanna remains adamant about completing his medical studies at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. To say that he is an achiever would be a short sight in the light of all he has achieved. Still, Hanna believes his best days are ahead of him and stays focused on his path to growing in all his endeavors.
