Ohio-bred independent musician, writer, music producer, and vocalist Donyay is set to release his latest single titled “Swipe,” a most-awaited sequel to his previous hit song “Not at All,” on July 9, 2021. The latter was the first single he released this year, and he surprised everyone in the music industry when it made the Top 200 Charts, landing at the 177th spot despite being a relatively new personality in the music scene. 

Over the years, Donyay has gained the admiration and respect of his peers in the industry for showing commitment, passion, and exceptional talent in creating songs. He has spent a lot of time honing his sound and lyrical skills before deciding to formally launch himself as a solo independent artist. He recorded his first song when he was only eleven years old. That pivotal time in his life cemented his belief that he is destined to accomplish great things through music. Hooked and stirred up by the magic of music, the young Donyay would skip class to go with the bigger kids to the studio. They were especially entertained and impressed by his freestyle techniques that they easily treated him like one of them. 

Most of his contemporaries also know him to be a man of many surprises as he is able to blend with any kind of sound.
