Keondra Mallard “The Speed Doctor” Helping Athletes Become Stronger and Faster

For athletes, their talent might have been innate to them, and their skills may have developed professionally after putting in efforts to become better at their chosen sport. However, teaching athleticism is a different ball game, and this has been proven severally by ex-professionals who went into coaching and failed miserably. However, one man stands out because as an athlete, she achieved a relatively good professional career for himself, and as a coach, she has done even better.

Kendra Mallard graduated with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas, Arlington. She proceeded to earn her master’s degree in sports administration from Concordia University in Austin, Texas. Mallard holds the record for being the youngest Athletic Director in Texas, with a skill set described as versatile. She is also currently a Junior Olympic Record Holder in the 4×100 meter relay and was ranked Top 10 in the nation in the 100 & 200 Meter Dash.

As someone who has always been involved in sports every moment of her life, her bond with sporting activities led Mallard to coaching and developing athletes. Ever since then, her career has taken off in such a way she never expected. To consolidate her legacy and cement her name in the hearts of many, she came up with the idea of establishing Mallard, The Speed Doctor, as a result of thorough thoughts and efforts. In her words, “I wanted to solidify the meaning of my work and how many athletes I have developed over an eight-year time frame and the exciting journey of turning average athletes into superstars competing in college and also playing in the NFL has been a fun ride.”

In recognition of her contributions and quality of work she has put in over the years, Mallard the Speed Doctor has featured on several sporting programs, such as Fox, CBS, and NBC, as the best NFL Speed Trainer in Texas.

The Mallard Speed Doctor Academy is more than just a business. According to Mallard, five pillars currently hold the company and define what the company stands for: hard work, consistency, communication, acceptance, and results.

In the words of Mallard, completing the program guarantees that athletes become stronger and faster people as well as better people overall.

Mallard, the Speed Doctor, caters to athletes majorly. The business points out that athletes deserve to get better and faster, but most importantly, they need to understand why speed is essential in all sports.

On what separates him from her competition, Mallard said, “I understand the value of Authenticity. I don’t offer anything that I’m not willing to put my life on the line for! My services are not only effective, but it is personal, and athletes will forever have a place under my brand! This is not about just coming to train with me; this is a life partnership, and I want my athletes to feel good not only as an athlete but as a person first!”
