DJ Hypemanricky Turns Up the Music With His Unique Energy

Music has the incredible power to move people; uplifting, energizing, and pumping them up. But, when a masterful DJ controls the tunes, music takes people to even greater heights. DJ Hypemanricky, a long-time disc jockey and radio host, is known as a hype man for a reason. With years of experience under his belt, he is an expert at helping people have fun and have a good time dancing with the music he mixes.

DJ Hypemanricky is a disc jockey and radio host based in Paterson, New Jersey. He has been in the music business for a long time, with fifteen years of experience as a deejay and twelve years of experience on radio. His time in the music scene has helped him hone his craft, making him one of the most talented deejays in his hometown.

Prior to his deejaying career, DJ Hypemanricky worked as a host in Jay-Z’s club 40/40 in Atlantic City. He also hosted parties and events back in his hometown. This experience helped him build skills like reading the crowd and identifying what they wanted to feel during a party. Additionally, his hosting duties gave him valuable insight into how to talk and act to get people dancing and having a blast.

Working as a host also meant that DJ Hypemanricky worked closely with several established deejays. “During my time at 40/40, I saw up close how the best of the best deejays worked. That was my education. I saw them rock their sets, and I saw the differences in their styles and what made them unique as artists,” he shared, “One night, I saw my idol Master Flex work the crowd with a killer set at 40/40. It was a really inspiring moment for me, and right away, I told my partners I was going home to practice my deejay skills.”

When DJ Hypemanricky started his career, he worked his sets on a desktop computer. “The newer stuff and gear were not available yet, so I traveled around doing gigs with my desktop. It was a challenge, but when I finally got a turntable and some good quality speakers, I was ready to rock,” the deejay recalled. While shifting gears to this new career was a nerve-wracking experience for him, DJ Hypemanricky knew he was following his passion. “I was nervous during my first few gigs. I was always a host, and being a deejay was new to me. But then I put two and two together, taking advantage of my hosting skills and using it when deejaying, which made all the difference. I got the crowds going, I got great feedback, and I got booked doing more shows and events.”

DJ Hypemanricky added, “Eventually, I had the opportunity to work in radio. It’s a little different, but I also enjoyed the radio work. I got to meet and interview some of the biggest artists like Fetty Wap, Lil Mo, J. Holiday, Yung La, and so many others. These opportunities just keep inspiring me to do better in this industry.” DJ Hypemanricky began his radio career as a host for BigLink Radio and then went on to Gems Radio. Today, he is the proud VP of Bloominlive Radio, an online radio network he also hosts. “I’m on Bloominlive Radio on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday nights,” the deejay said, “But I still do some deejay work in other clubs and events. On weekends, people can find me working my sets at Against All Odds in Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, New Jersey.”

Music is a cause for celebration, and there is no better way to celebrate and have a good time than dancing to music masterfully mixed by DJ Hypemanricky. “My goal is to make people happy with my sets and to make them feel alive and excited at all the possibilities open to them. My mixes and I are always here for them whenever they want to rock out and have a blast.”
