Anthony D. Shannon Sr. Making a Massive Impact in the Motivational Speaking World

Being a leader or professional in a world filled with negative news can be daunting. To keep a positive spirit and motivational drive, people should hear messages that spark hope and life in others. That’s why motivational speakers like Anthony Shannon are so adamant in their vision of changing the world and people’s lives, one speaking engagement at a time.

Anthony D. Shannon Sr. is a thought-provoking leader in the corporate world and has a successful career in motivational speaking and training. In addition, he is an American author, speaker, pastor, teacher, and prophet who has written two books and produced four manuals. Anthony was born in Pontiac, Michigan, an evangelical Christian and was called into the ministry and led his mother into the ministry.

Shannon Sr’s latest book, Live Generously, focuses on leadership development and tapping into one’s potential to make an impact in people’s lives by living for others. He has made an impact on countless lives across the United States, helping individuals realize that change is necessary for their personal and business growth and helping individuals know that overcoming to win is always possible even when the odds are stacked up against you.

In 1989, Anthony encountered the Lord that changed his life forever. Anthony completed a bachelor’s degree at Southern Christian University in 1988 and a Master of Divinity degree at Southern Christian University. On top of his track record as a pastor and teacher, he is also a leadership expert, speaker, and author in corporate leadership. In addition, he is an expert in leadership topics such as casting vision, time management, consultative B2B sales, business development, coaching, and high-level training.

Anthony had a learning disorder and speech impediment but overcame it and became a successful leader, writer, and expert business consultant. He now finds his purpose in helping others overcome their seemingly impossible challenges. Years from now, Anthony sees himself growing his consulting business and speaking on global platforms.

“I would like to see ourselves and our company with more recognition internationally and in Canada. We want to spread help to more and increase our sphere of influence to more companies,” says the expert business consultant.

Having a corporate experience of twenty-five years from sales training to district vice president and other vice president positions with companies like ADP, Ceridian, Marriott, ADP Totalsource and Staffplus and Paychex, Walt Disney, Home Depot, Anthony has also been responsible for overseeing the success of training departments and with over 3,000 employees. During this time, Anthony was able to create and deliver world-class and award-winning presentations on large stages within corporations all across the United States. Now, he and his team are expanding into Canada and other international countries.

“When I was having so much success in my corporate assignments and working with leaders after I retired, I saw the need to train and help, so I decided that was my purpose, and it was to continue and not die. In the words of the late Dr. Myles Munroe, ‘Do not die old, die empty. That is the goal of life. Go to the cemetery and disappoint the graveyard,’” says the multitalented coach and leader.

Anthony’s personal childhood experience about overcoming setbacks has allowed him to use his life in corporate America. He used this to inspire him to speak with passion and power to leaders of all levels.
