As a teenager, Lucas Hyde found himself standing at 5 ft. 11 inches and overweight, weighing over 230 pounds. This was a result of the deep depression he experienced after the divorce of his parents. It would not be until ten years later that he found himself genuinely fit and proud of his health. He had spent ten years of his life battling his weight problems. None of this worked for Hyde. The stress brought about by the different solutions he imposed on himself took a toll on his body. Eventually, he realized how stress is an extreme killer of gains. After finishing a degree in Exercise Science and obtaining his Personal Training Certification, and an “Exercise as Medicine” accreditation, he started to join many fitness journeys of his clients as their coach. Eventually, he found what worked for him and what worked for other people depending on their circumstances.
