Squalla on Dreaming Big and Achieving the Impossible

Aside from dreaming big, successful artists have a knack for making things happen despite the countless challenges. And as the entertainment industry is highly known for fostering a ruthless atmosphere, these exceptional individuals can still find ways to reach the top. One such person is Papa Gueye, also known as Squalla.

Indeed, there is nothing more competitive than the music and entertainment industry. But despite this fearsome reputation, some extraordinary people make it their mission to chase their dreams of becoming one of the most sought-after artists across the world. Packed with a plan to grace the world with his musical talents, Squalla set out to take the industry by storm topped with a melodic flair.

It has always been Squalla’s dream to pursue a career in music. However, his path towards his goals was met with a lot of struggles that pushed him to the edge. And on top of that, some people expressed their doubts about Squalla’s plans, believing that he could never make it in such a demanding industry. Determined to prove his naysayers wrong, he began to kickstart his journey in his hometown in the southwest side of Houston, Texas.

With his impeccable skills and talents, topped with a knack for music, Squalla eventually gained popularity in the entertainment world. After releasing his first project entitled “Anxiety,” he began to appear in many media outlets, especially in two of the city’s major platforms, Houston Press and Hiphop Weekly. His breakthrough gathered many fans, which offered a lot of opportunities for continuing his rise to fame. And as a result of his growing popularity, he became part of a group called “Fresh Lxrds,” while being a solo artist managed by Oscar Roberts, the CEO of JV Inc.

Although his achievements in Houston, Texas were quite staggering for a novice, Squalla wanted to hone his skills and talents more. Fueled by this need to improve, he packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles, California, where he found his sound that amplifies the story of his life.

From Houston to Los Angeles, Squalla continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the realms of music and entertainment. Since his move, he has done nothing but advance his career to the point where he could put out two singles entitled “Look At Me” and “Floating” in just a short period of time. Squalla’s new songs garnered much attention from various people, and they gathered about half a million streams on different platforms. His recently released single entitled “Robert Horry,” which features Houston legend, Lil Keke, is expected to win the hearts of many millennials. On top of his quick rise to fame, Squalla has also collaborated with some legendary artists in the industry, such as Devin the Dude and King Los.

Heavily influenced by some legendary artists like 50 Cent, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, and more, Squalla hopes to share his music with more people, connect to fans, and eventually, tour around the world. And aside from his musical dreams, Squalla has a clothing line, Eightynine90, with his brother, MC Beezy which he plans on opening a storefront soon. With his capabilities, everything is possible for this young star.
