Shaunté Monét Triumphs Over Breast Cancer and Sets Her Sights On the Runway

Shaunté Monét is a successful American model and actress. She is determined to fully establish herself among the most admired and marketable models in the fashion industry.

Her acting and modeling experiences began at John Casablanca’s Modeling and Acting Agency. At 6 feet tall, Shaunté Monét has the incredible and unique physical features that are befitting of a model in the fashion industry. She is incredibly driven, and she wants to truly succeed in the modeling industry. She doesn’t just want this; she loves this.

Shaunté Monét has modeled for brands such as Lord and Taylor and David’s Bridal in their annual runway show, both of which are now repeat clients of hers. She has also booked non-speaking roles with Griffin Hospital, a major company in Connecticut, and with Olympus Camera. She was featured in the new launch of Queen Carte Cosmetics, wearing their best-selling Tres Chic mink eyelashes. She has trained with America’s Next Top Model Winner Rio Summers, and she has also walked the runway in LA’s Fashion Week.

Shaunté Monét Smith was diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer, but she kept it a secret from her friends and family for a very long time. She eventually gathered the courage to tell everyone as she disclosed the information on her YouTube channel, Fighting H.E.R. 2. Shaunté Monét has expressed that the diagnosis really changed her life. She created the YouTube channel to not only educate and spread awareness about breast cancer, but also to give women a peace of mind as they go through the same journey as she did.

In her videos, Shaunté Monét talks about chemotherapy, radiation, hair loss, surgeries, among many things. She even gets personal, talking about the changes in her sex life and personal life. She discusses egg freezing, body image, mental health, and continuing her thriving modeling career. Her YouTube channel is her way of giving back, since during her battle with cancer, she didn’t have a real person with personal experiences to talk to.

She wishes for other women to feel a sense of companionship from her videos. Rather than just googling what’s in store for them or hearing it straight from their doctors, Shaunté Monét wishes to fill the void of personal interactions that most women who are suffering with cancer often feel.

Once she overcame her Breast Cancer, Shaunté Monét has moved forward and has become more determined than ever. Since then, she has received a lot of modeling gigs and a lot of projects to which she is greatly appreciative. Her runway model experiences have shaped her into a league of her own, and it’s only a matter of time until she makes the entire world her runway.

Shaunté Monét is a very talented woman, and she is destined for greatness. She uses her platform to help other women who are going through a crisis of their own, the same way she rose from the battle that she herself faced. It’s undeniable that her true potential has yet to be unleashed, and it’s exciting to see how far Shaunté Monét can go.
