Now that almost everyone all over the globe is online, so many different stories are shared through timelines. These stories of success continue to inspire many other dreamers, and Rae Serbeck’s modeling story is no exception to that. In less than three years, he showed the entertainment industry what he’s got — and he has no plans of stopping.
Just like everyone else, Serbeck also struggled in trying to find his “purpose.” For years, he ventured into different jobs and careers, but never found a perfect fit for him — until December 2017. Rae Serbeck’s best friend encouraged him to join a tryout for a Runway Male Modelling Position at a Utah Fashion Show. At that time, Rae Serbeck didn’t have any experience. Just a month after the tryouts, he and his best friend were called back to be part of the show. After so many years of searching, Serbeck finally found himself a career that he enjoyed doing.
Rae Serbeck continued to work with several other runway organizations for 8 months after his first gig until he decided to work for United Fashion Talent, a small modeling agency. There, he was able to express himself more on the art perspective; however, that did not earn him as much. After that realization, he found himself venturing into freelance modelling while continually breaking his own expectations for his career.
At the start of his second year modelling, he worked with multiple clothing companies and found more contacts and companies to work with. Although many male models seek to become underwear models, Rae Serbeck kept his eyes on other things. He was working with casual wear, fitness wear, shoe brands, sunglasses companies, and even mens’ jewelry stores.
In December of 2019, Rae Serbeck was gifted another opportunity when the owner of Inspired Magazine asked him to be published in their next issue. This feature was the first of many that continued to come — he got featured on Buckle’s website, modeled and acted in Robbie Tripp’s music video, got published twice in the Rising Model Magazine, and even became the cover of the local Utah Magazine he started with.
Rae Serbeck’s charm, good looks, and talent got him far, but his success did not stop there. Mitch Royel, the owner of Elixir by Royel, contacted him about getting published in the international magazine as both a model and a writer. He wrote a ten-page piece on bullying, which inspired many all over the world.
As of September 2020, he has been published in 15 different magazines, 7 of them being international. Rae Serbeck only wished to be published at least once a month, but he has exceeded that goal months ago.
Because of Rae Serbeck’s natural talent, coupled with his amazing work ethic, his modeling career continued to take flight. His story inspires many aspiring male models out there to work hard, just as he did, to reach his goals. Rae Serbeck continues to surprise himself with the many “impossible” goals he surpasses, and he has no plans of stopping. The world must see his talent and hard work.
