Mannydaop: This Upcoming Rapper Will Put Cambridge, Massachusetts, on the Rap Map

For as long as he can remember, Manny Oliver, aka Mannydaop, has always lived and breathed music. It was something that his family celebrated, and it gave them joy despite their difficult circumstances. The artist struggled all his life in an impoverished neighborhood. Still, music remained a passion he never got tired of.

Mannydaop was born in Brooklyn, New York, but was raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He grew up in a community where he would rap along with other music creators with massive potential. However, the rapper quickly noticed that Cambridge was overlooked in the industry, unlike other major music states such as Atlanta and New York. Taking his talent and tenacity, the artist aims to make music that would put Cambridge on the map along with other prominent cities in the music industry.

Mannydaop makes music that everyone can relate to. He aims to create a unique experience for music lovers, not only in his neighborhood but also in the worldwide hip-hop scene. The rapper has recently independently launched three music videos. Despite not having promotional support of any sort, his tracks are still gaining thousands of hits among viewers. “This made me realize a lot of people want to hear me, so now I’m just working on getting exposure all over the globe,” said the rapper.

Most recently, Mannydaop began his undertaking in reaching wider audiences by collaborating with the rapper SkinnyFrmDa9. Together, the two artists created videos in luxurious mansions and worked with music experts and executives at GreenHouse Studio. This paves the way for the rapper to work with some of the best sound engineers, producers, and fellow rappers in the game. To date, he is dropping eight to ten new videos between September and October.

Mannydaop is genuinely one of the most authentic artists the music industry has today. “I don’t just do it for money,” the rapper said. He began rapping at age 13 and witnessed how his brothers also loved the craft. The artist recalled that he would always hear them rapping around their house, which inspired him to become a music business icon. Thanks to his brothers’ passion for rapping, Mannydaop got the opportunities to attend parties, concerts, go on trips across Los Angeles and Miami, and ride exotic cars.

Throughout his exposure to the industry with his brothers, Mannydaop eventually realized that he genuinely loved being in a studio making music. “I’ve done it for 15 hours straight many times,” the rapper recalled. Because of his passion and dedication for music, Mannydaop dreams of building his own record company for upcoming artists like himself and collaborating with talented producers and engineers. The rapper wants a label that would welcome everyone who loves music.

With all his success and plans, Mannydaop is not picturing a future for himself alone. He wants to achieve a better life, with mansions and all the things he never had growing up, not only for himself but for his family and friends. As he creates authentic music and captivating tracks, the artist brings himself closer to his goals.
