Mary Kathleen Cassidy, better known as Luminosa, was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At eleven years old, she started her formal training in musical theater and contemporary voice techniques. After finishing high school, she proceeded to study classical voice performance at Pennsylvania State University. She obtained a degree in English and a minor in vocal performance.
Luminosa developed her craft for over 15 years, mastering the fundamentals and advanced techniques in singing. Since two years ago, the well-trained musician has performed at numerous venues all over New York City and Pittsburgh. But more than her mastery in music, what truly sets the rising singer apart from the rest is her natural ability to bring the audience into her experience. I want them to know I will send them my love no matter what,” shares the seasoned musician.
