“The sky isn’t the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”
Formed in the summer of 2020, the Virginia Beach-based Legacy Entertainment has made impressive strides during their humble beginnings. Founded by Steven Middleton, Rondell Cobbs, and Edwin Camacho, the brand is eyeing to reach greater heights in the next few years—going from being a remote company to a powerhouse music label.
A one-stop shop for every aspiring musician, Legacy Entertainment offers management, artist development, production, songwriting, and publishing. The men behind the brand are fully equipped to develop any budding artist to one that thousands of people will admire. Additionally, the team, composed of producers, songwriters, and representatives, are the people that know their way around engineering music.
Leading the pack is Atlanta-based Allan Edwards. Edwards has created music for artists that have graced the charts, some even placing in the Top 40. He has worked with Lil Wayne, Baby E, Bibby, Kevin Gates, and more.
After witnessing the different faces of the competition in the music industry, the founding members were motivated to create their own brand that builds a healthy relationship with its clients. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, the trio has realized that they have a niche to fill. By respecting people, Legacy builds a foundation that inspires the creativity of its artists with their own craft. Legacy is seeking to search and hone the talent of artists across the globe. By dealing appropriate opportunities, Legacy Entertainment is committed to deliver the best for both parties.
The trifecta has experience in producing, touring, and engineering. Additionally, they have worked with big names in the industry, including Coheed and Cambria, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Kevin Rudolf, and Fall Out Boy. Their experience and desire to uphold music from different artists make Legacy Entertainment a go-to company for newbies.
Apart from fulfilling their dream of becoming a record label, Legacy Entertainment is also optimistic with the growth and exponential success of their talents today. Also, they hope that with their reach, they will be able to sign more creatives. The trio shared more about the vision that they have for Legacy. Within five years, they will seek out more top talents around the globe with an impressive A&R division.
Artists under Legacy Entertainment include upcoming star Meaghan Rose. The aspiring musician linked with multi-platinum talent manager Joshua Mitchell to boost her career and promote her music to rise in the charts. Meaghan Rose’s debut single will be released in October this year. Her album entitled Rose’ilium will be launched in January 2021.
Asked about what should everyone look forward to Rose’s music, the trio said, “The melodies in her soul were made to match the music in ours, and we are extremely excited for her rise!”
By hitting their high and lows, the founders of Legacy want to tell everyone that no dream is too high nor too low. With hard work and dedication, any dream can be reached.
