Half Deezy on What It Takes to Keep the Dream Alive

Some people go through their whole lives without giving them any thought. But for dreamers and go-getters, life is all about discovering what it is that burns inside to keep them going. And in nurturing the things that set their souls on fire, they find that the thrill it brings will get them through the doldrums in life.

For Half Deezy, a recognized American and Filipino hip-hop artist, it is his passion for music that makes him get out of bed each morning and take on the world. And by keeping his dreams tightly in his heart, he has blossomed into the person he always envisioned of becoming.

Currently based in Las Vegas, the musical phenomenon continually blows the music industry away with his melodic raps and catchy hooks. Blessed with his distinct and exciting voice, he makes it impossible for the world to confuse him with other artists. And although his music passes through his listeners’ ears, it is sure to stay in the pit of their hearts.

Ever since Half Deezy was a kid, he already had a penchant for making music. And for as long as he can remember, it has been his dream to touch people’s lives with his craft. So after ten years of service in the U.S. Army, he immediately took off to go all-in with producing music, writing songs, and pushing his brand. Amazingly enough, his dedication and commitment came to fruition.

Unlike other musicians and artists whose musical influence came in naturally or was handed to them, Half Deezy did not have any musical background at all. But despite having to start his career from scratch, he never felt the slightest bit of disheartenment.

Instead, Half Deezy worked himself to the bone to make up for what he lacked and honed his abilities as much as he could. And as a result of his outstanding efforts, he was able to pick up his pace and reach a breakthrough. Since he launched his career, he has been able to open for various artists to include Bone Thugs N Harmony, Lil White, and G-Eazy.

Some of Half Deezy’s prominent works include Tonight, Good Day, Soulja Boy Diss, and They Hate U.S., all of which are available on every streaming platform. Moreover, he has also gained recognition for being featured in songs of various platinum artists like Bizzy Bone and Lazy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Baby Eazy-E, and Stat Quo, to name a few.

Everything that Half Deezy has accomplished sprouted from a single seed of passion. And because he chose to water what he earnestly planted, it comes as no surprise that he is now reaping the fruits of his labor.

There is no way of knowing when passion will strike or how it will manifest itself. For some, it can arrive in a grand manner that calls for an outright celebration. But for others, it can come in a subtle whisper from the soul. And in Half Deezy’s case, his passion was revealed through his exceptional skills and unwavering faith in music.

With his musical journey, Half Deezy wants to set a precedent for those who think that their dreams are far too big or all too impossible to achieve.

He wants to send the message that a person who never loses sight of his aspirations and goals will, without a doubt, make it in life. Because aside from having the right set of skills and talent, one must also put on an undaunted spirit to endure the uphill battle for success.
