Arianna Grande is really living her best life and every teenager will relish the opportunity to be like her. The pop star has been dropping little teasers of her upcoming “Thank U, Next” music video where she spoofs a couple of old school faves, from Legally Blonde to Bring It On.
Arianna Grande is so talented and is capable of doing what many people can’t so when she posted an image from the set of the video, she got some love from the stars of Bring It On, Eliza Dushku, and Gabrielle Union. She also got some nice little references from the movie.
In the 2000 movie, Dushku plays a character known as Missy Pantone and she transfers from Los Angeles to a San Diego high school where it is made to team up with a cheerleading squad after learning that there was no gymnastic team in the school. Pantone had a very hard time fitting into the cheerleading set up initially but her unique skills got her a spot eventually in the team.
Arianna shared a picture of five women dressed in East Compton Clover gear and it brought back a lot of old memories. Gabrielle Union who played the character of Isis in the movie got the memo and she responded on Twitter saying: Why yes, I am an East Compton Clover! Are we meeting today Ariana Grande I’ll bring the punch,”
Arianna was so excited by the response and she tweeted her excitement. Dushku also joined in the fun. While the rest of us can only dream and reminisce on our childhood movies, Arianna Grande is actually connecting with all of the stars. Earlier in the week, she also had a fun exchange with the star of Legally Blonde, Reese Witherspoon on social media.
“Thank U, Next” is one of the singles in her upcoming fifth studio album and is already number 1 on either side of the Atlantic and in Australia.
