The COVID-19 crisis has been a tough time for many families worldwide. In these unprecedented times, the YouTube show Adam and Rayan Playtime helps families everywhere by showing ways to stay positive and productive during the health crisis.
The YouTube channel features the Cochran family: mother Lena and her two young boys, Adam and Rayan. The online show aims to teach values and good behavior to kids. During the lockdown, parents have had to juggle both works and home life as most children are encouraged to stay home. Parents can now teach their children lessons in a hands-on environment through Adam and Rayan Playtime.
Adam and Rayan are more than just brothers. They’re best friends. The online channel follows their adventures that include fishing, traveling, swimming, sports, outdoor activities, cooking, camping, and many other family-friendly activities. The YouTube channel also features many other important family values like helping in the house, taking care of their pets, and enjoying life together.
Adam and Rayan Playtime follow the Cochran family’s activities and life as they find ways to stay resourceful even with restrictions on movement. The project comes as an initiative of a single mother, Lena Cochran. She was born in Ukraine but received education and employment in the United States. Lena has spent the last twenty years working in IT. The pandemic has been a daunting challenge for the mother of two. Balancing very active boys and taking care of their pet dogs has made Lena realize how vital the internet is to help train and educate kids.
The rise of YouTube channels, specifically for kids and families, has risen tremendously over time. Nowadays, the online social and streaming platform has become the go-to service for many of today’s kids. Channels that discuss things from kid’s toys to children’s activities have grown exponentially in terms of viewership and followership.
The goal of Adam and Rayan Playtime is to do more than entertain people. The show also aims to reach out to single parents and full families through their YouTube videos and provide support to those who need it most. The online channel will show parents an array of activities that worked for the Cochran family in bringing happiness in the middle of the pandemic.
“Staying positive, spending time outdoors, and taking care of animals has really helped me and my children to stay focused on positive through this change,” shares Lena. She hopes that by showcasing their activities and regimens, parents would develop creative ideas to keep their children engaged and active.
Through Adam and Rayan Playtime, the Cochran family hopes to build an online community of parents, kids, and pet owners. They hope that they can help preserve a healthy and positive environment with the community and teach ways to bring up kids in a fun and interactive way.
The online show began back in February 2020 but has now reached over 4,600 collective video views. With more activities and values that they’d like to put into video format, Lena, Adam, and Rayan have much more to offer to their subscribers.
