Every bride and groom deserve a stress-free planning experience for one of the most important milestones in their lives. They should be able to fully enjoy not only the day they say “I do” but also the lead up to it. For Kristin Sullivan, the planning stage sets the tone for years to come in relationships, and not just the one between the bride and groom. Kristin recognized the need to help newly engaged couples shift from being overwhelmed by wedding preparations to overjoyed.
The founder and CCO of The Bridal Retreat, Kristin Sullivan, took it upon herself to build a company that would marry wellness to wedding planning. Kristin gathered four amazing women to join her mission. Although The Bridal Retreat is composed of a very close-knit team, the professionals in the company deliver world-class results.
First is Laura Brownwood, an expert on nutrition and joy consultancy. Second, their yoga and meditation retreats are led by Kathryn McCann. Then there’s Erin Leon, a.k.a. Numbers Ninja, who utilizes her years of experience in the hospitality industry to advise wedding clients on contract negotiations and budgets. Last but not least is Erin Washinton, who advises on balance, living your best lifestyle, and uncovering the best version of one’s self.
Brides who attend The Bridal Retreat receive a life-changing experience. They are able to cover all aspects needed for their big day calmly. The Bridal Retreat is essential for any upcoming bride. Indeed, it pairs perfectly given with the engagement ring. It is one of the best gifts couples could have before they start a life together.

Recently, Kristin created an intimate bed-and-breakfast in Florida to host what she calls planningmoons. Couples can win a planningmoon with Kristin in Florida this July through December, she is hosting a monthly contest through Pinterest. The primary aim of this wedding pre-planning retreat is so that couples can escape for 2 days and plan for their big celebration with Kristin privately in Florida. Whereas, The Bridal Retreat is geared toward a group of brides only, gathering together over 4 days.
Aside from being a successful planner, Kristin also hosts the online show Leftovercakechat where she tackles everything there is to know about wedding planning. She airs the show every Sunday morning, broadcasted from her mobile vintage camper office. The best part is that Kristin discusses something she is passionate about while eating cake and drinking champagne while in her pajamas.
