There are limited options for entertainment and resources for necessities in a civilization stuck indoors due to a pandemic. This is precisely why businesses have taken to online platforms to advertise and sell their products. Online store Manase Ventures is one of these enterprises.
Manase Tainamu founded Manase Ventures as a response to the growing demand for convenient online platforms that could help users find what they are looking for. The online store promotes products from various vendors and companies, bringing together items and goods from different locations in one platform.
The founder grew up in the village of Aasu in Tutuila, American Samoa. Upon graduation in 2012, he moved to the United States. The entrepreneur currently works as an order picker for the Fred Meyer Distribution Center in Puyallup City, Pierce County, Washington.
As a result of restrictions in operations and the significant economic threats posed by COVID-19, many businesses today are faced with an “adapt or die” situation. Hundreds of enterprises, if not more, are being forced to shut down, while those that remain afloat trudge through opportunities to sustain themselves. One of these emerging adaptation opportunities is e-commerce. And this is one of Manase Ventures’ reasons for being. The online store is an affiliate business or marketing platform that advocates for other products of other businesses on the web. Its goal is to be a well-known business that helps fellow enterprises get more clients by offering their products in a convenient and user-friendly platform. With these objectives in mind, Manase Ventures has partnered with some of the top-tier e-commerce companies of today, such as eBay, Amazon, and ClickBank to widen its product catalog and expand its reach worldwide. As a relatively young business, this partnership is considered the blood flow of their long term success, according to founder Manase Tainamu.
Successful entrepreneurs have to start somewhere, and Manase is more than thankful for the opportunity to create his own e-commerce platform. He recalls having met English business magnate Richard Branson at one of his TED Talks and asking him about some tips on what to do when experiencing repetitive failures. Richard’s reply was simple, “Success is like a bus, there’s always another one coming.”
At that time, Manase had been noticing numerous business training ads that kept popping up in his newsfeed, as if giving him a sign and nudging him in a particular direction. One day, he decided to give in and open one of the ads. And the rest is history.
Through Manase Ventures, Manase hopes to reach more people and businesses and further become instrumental in providing customers with a convenient platform for all their needs. The online store houses a broad spectrum of products—from retailer and supermarket items.
“I believe that nowadays, we were not made to be average. If Bill Gates and Warren Buffett can do it, so (can) we,” the founder says.
