When someone has a good credit score, they have a better chance of purchasing a home or achieving financial stability. There are many ways to improve or repair credit scores, but most people do not have access to information regarding finances. Ivonne Arvizu is a successful financial consultant whose humble beginnings have inspired her to help many others attain financial success.
Growing up, Ivonne Arvizu shares that her mother worked three jobs. “We didn’t have much, but my mother worked hard to meet her financial obligations. Unfortunately, she received a bad credit score because the American system was different from her home country’s credit system,” she says. This misunderstanding meant that her mother had to wait even longer before she could purchase a home. “This would not have happened if there were resources available to her regarding financial literacy,” Ivonne shares.
Her mother’s hard work inspired Ivonne Arvizu to put in the same effort into her education. She graduated with high honors from high school and received a four-year scholarship to UC Santa Barbara. After graduating from university, she became a high-ranking employee at two banks. In her years in the banking industry, she encountered numerous people who had bad credit scores. “I realized that most of them had poor credit because they lacked the knowledge in how the system worked,” Ivonne says, “I remembered how hard my mother had to work to repair her credit. I took it upon myself to help these people understand how to improve their credit.”
Ivonne Arvizu started giving seminars, giving people the knowledge they needed to improve their credit. Her efforts created a conflict of interest in her work. When her superiors asked her to stop giving seminars, Ivonne took a stand. “I left my career and started my own company. Doing that freed me up to help people with their credit repair and financial planning needs.”
In the credit repair industry, Ivonne Arvizu came to be known as La Reyna del Credito. She has accumulated extensive insight and expertise after 18 years in the business. Throughout her career, Ivonne never forgot her roots. “My main goal has always been to push the Latino community to be more conscious of their credit. I want them to have solid plans for financial stability by the time they retire,” Ivonne says.
Ivonne Arvizu created programs specifically to empower Latino communities to make more informed financial choices. Her services guarantee credit scores so her clients can purchase a home or refinance their home as soon as possible. The programs and services are also available in Spanish to make it more accessible to the Latino community.
Besides providing Spanish-language credit repair services, Ivonne Arvizu has shared her expertise in various television and radio networks. She has been on Telemundo and Univision. Ivonne also took part in educational programs for Radio Inspiracion, Radio Nueva Vida, Klove, and other networks with Entravision Communications and Lieberman Broadcasting.
“I guarantee results. Bad credit can always be repaired with the right tools and information,” Ivonne Arvizu says, “ I want my clients to know that they have all the support they need to achieve their American Dream.”
