Most people’s general impression of agents working in real estate for decades is that these agents love houses and money. For Glen Coutinho, however, a director, auctioneer, and real estate agent with about 35 years of experience, that absurd generalization does not apply to him.
Glen’s core passion is being a people lover. He believes it is one of his finest and best assets. Everything else that Glen does is a mere reflection of his love of people.
Even in his work, Glen applies a “people-loving” approach to real estate, paired with the mindset of a hunter when selling homes. Working under Harcourts International, he is a partner with Alex Duk, Deanna D’Egidio, Krystle & Laurent Bijaoui & his daughter Brooke Coutinho in the Harcourts Beverly Hills USA office, which has already won numerous awards under their direction. At his company, Glen and his team aim to strive and achieve the best customer service possible.

Glen’s motivations include meeting new people, building his own client base, and forging connections, all while selling people’s homes.
Building connections and friendships with clients in real estate are what Glen focuses more on, as well as treating his staff like family. Glen turns every client into a friend, not for any ulterior motive, but simply because he loves people. Rarely forgetting anyone or anything, Glen makes sure to take note of all the events, special interests, and achievements of the people he meets.
There is no exaggeration when it comes to Glen. Every person he has the opportunity to meet and become friends with, whether years ago, is still connected with Glen even now. Glen does not discriminate; he treats everyone equally, from the cleaners to the millionaires.
Aside from having a passion for people, Glen is highly skilled and competent; techniques in marketing, customer service, mentoring, and people skills are among his wide array of expertise.
With his people-loving approach, varied skill set, and hard work, Glen brought himself to the top of the industry. Selling more than $340 million worth of property in 2019, and more than $1 billion worth of transactions in the last three years, Glen has picked up numerous awards and was named an industry influencer by Elite Agent as a champion of customer service.
“I wake up every morning and think, what can I do today or make someone else’s day?” Glen notes.
This mindset led Glen to where he is now. Glen makes sure to always follow through his plans and promises, never letting anyone down. With a work-hard ethic and a positive workforce, Glen guides and directs his company to prosperity, believing that their goals are within their reach.
As a loving husband and a father of five, Glen also makes sure never to neglect his family and prioritizes them above work. He moved his entire family; wife Simone and children Brooke, Jack, Billy, Mason & Julez over to the US to follow his sons Mason & Julez music careers and to launch his real estate career with Harcourts Beverly Hills.
As Glen continues on his journey, he aspires to motivate people to achieve any goal they have in mind, flicking the switch and becoming the best versions of themselves.
