During this pandemic while some designers are going online for sales, others have decided to wrap up business. Right now, being a fashion designer with one, few or multiple stores is a challenge, the only concern is making the business profitable, especially with the new normal and changed living concepts during the pandemic. But remember that your greatest talent is much more powerful than your biggest fear, your attitude determines how well you do it. Guillermo Pharis, an emerging New York based bridal fashion designer is one of those people who were affected due to the global pandemic but his brand and showroom located in Tribeca, New York City, have survived.

His sketches that represent his sheer ethereal imagination blended with embellished, embroidered perfection.
The process is a way for designers to explore new ideas, tap into their creativity, and discover new sources of inspiration. Pharis believes fashion will continue to be a space of self-expression. “In my opinion, the most stylish thing right now is adoption of the new normal, visualizing opportunities, reinventing yourself because that is the true future of fashion”.
Aftermath of the crisis, people will want similar moments of joy, and his work is going to truly reflect this. Pharis shares that he spends an hour trying on fun, special, delightful vintage pieces from the 1960’s-1970’s that lift his spirits and reminds him why he loves fashion! Fashion can help us surpass even the darkest of times.
