From Esthetics to Books: Deisy Suarez Releases Her New Book to Inspire Readers With Her Story

The esthetics industry of downtown Los Angeles, California has recently been dominated by the top luxury day spa, Desuar Spa, by owner and influencer Deisy Suarez-Giles, who has over sixteen years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry. In light of the significant turn of events brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, this remarkable speaker, philanthropist, and entrepreneur found her old love and passion for writing with hopes to inspire her readers and impart valuable lessons to them.

Aside from her lifelong dreams in the world of esthetics and cosmetic industry, Deisy has also long aspired to write her very own book, but never had the time or opportunity to do so. It is important to note that on top of her spa business, Deisy is also a wife and a mother of two wonderful little boys.

But, when the pandemic caused the mandatory shutdown of Desuar Spa, she was left with more time on her hands. Determined to remain productive amidst the crisis the world was facing, she was sure that the pandemic had given her the opportunity to pursue her passion for writing. While taking a break from esthetics, she spent much of her time immersed in writing. After some time, she finally finished her first book entitled “Marriage Material: How I Found My Husband.”

The book touches on the challenges Deisy faced in her life as she journeyed towards love. She narrates how she found the person destined for her in a place where she least expected to see him. The Dominican-born esthetics expert and writer also touches on how difficult it truly is to be away from loved ones, especially during very special moments in life. She got married without any of the most important people in her life.

Moreover, her book delves deeper into love, relationships, and marriage. She takes pride in the fact that she and her husband have been successful at keeping their love alive through never-ending hard work. Through her book, Deisy shares some of the lessons that she has learned from love and from her own marriage. Ultimately, she hopes to leave valuable lessons in life to her readers through her first-ever book.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic shook the world to the core, the daily life of Deisy involved a lot of physical work for Desuar Spa. It is the top luxury day spa voted as the Best Day Spa by LA Downtown News. She operates it alongside her supportive husband.

Deisy has worked for the health and wellness industry, both in Los Angeles and New York, as a licensed esthetician and a certified massage therapist for quite some time now. This strong-willed entrepreneur who has been featured in Forbes and has been dubbed as the “spa connoisseur,” focused mainly on her passion for philanthropy and entrepreneurship. Through her spa, she helps clients learn the best practices for healing, skincare, rest, and relaxation.

The pandemic may have temporarily put Deisy’s first passion on hold, but it opened a whole new opportunity to become an author.
