Successful entrepreneur, inspirational speaker, and author, Felicia Sanders, has launched her second book entitled Gustave’s Adventures Vol 1: Just a Seal. The title joins the engaging content of an inspirational picture book and an educational resource’s value into one. The book was launched on October 31, on the blue moon, as an homage to those who believe that nothing is impossible. With her new book, Felicia hopes to inspire more people to reach for the stars and achieve their wildest dreams.
The inspirational graphic narrative follows the story of a seal named Gustave, who follows his dreams of moving from Sitka, Alaska to Hawaii despite his peers’ constant discouragement. The story narrates Gustave’s ups and downs as he pursues his dreams and meets interesting characters along the way. The book not only gives a compelling tale, but also inspires people to follow suit and pursue their own dreams in life.
The sophomore release follows Felicia Sanders’ first book, The Sunflower, which picked up massive success online. The book landed in first place on Amazon’s New Releases section for various categories. The goal of The Sunflower is to help people have deeper conversations with loved ones.
Before becoming a well-known inspirational author and successful business owner, Felicia had already found success in various ways. Born in Indonesia, the dreamer would travel the world early on. To date, Felicia has been to thirty-eight countries and counting. When she was fourteen years old, the author left her hometown to pursue her dreams. Later on in life, Felicia would pick up a master’s degree in Finance on a full scholarship and come into a highly-rewarding position in a Fortune 100 company.
Yet even with all she had accomplished and done, Felicia struggled with feelings of dissatisfaction. She would go into a self-discovery journey and learn crucial truths that became the foundation upon which she built her life. Felicia learned the importance of purpose and significance—living for more than a big paycheck and a corner office. She would find it in herself to create a platform and share those truths with many others. She chose inspirational writing as her medium and had since then made a great impact through her teachings and writing. Felicia shares how the best time to read her books to children is before bedtime. This allows children and even adult readers to manifest inspirational thoughts in their subconscious mind.

Today, Felicia lives for a noble calling: to help people live again, not just exist. “Don’t fear death, fear not living,” shares Felicia Sanders. “They forget what it means to live and to be connected to something greater than them. You live every day, you don’t just live once.” Felicia owns and operates Camps at Sea, a company that seeks to help people learn to grow and take a positive outlook toward life. She is also the owner of a Dream Vacations travel franchise, Trip It Like You Mean It. The author also speaks about the importance of embracing one’s emotions instead of suppressing them and how to experience liberty from one’s mental slavery to pursue better things in life.
Gustave’s Adventures Vol 1: Just a Seal is a picture book with an inspirational message that speaks to both children and adults. The many symbols and parallelisms in the book help inspire people of all ages to dream bigger and aspire for themselves more. Through the book’s narrative, Felicia teaches people that it’s never too late to pursue something that gives them greater fulfillment in life. With the book’s launch, Felicia Sanders has also penned a collaboration with the World Wildlife Foundation. She has pledged a portion of her book’s earnings to the non-profit organization to help save wildlife and marine animals and build awareness around climate change. In the past, Felicia also partnered with another non-profit, 4-H, during her launch of The Sunflower. She also partnered with a local Sunflower farm where a seed is planted for every book purchase to symbolize hope and courage.
Felicia Sanders sees urgency in sharing truths without sugar-coating them, especially when speaking on life and emotions. As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, the author hopes that her books would bring awareness to the importance of having a positive perspective, commitment to inner peace and courage to stay hopeful. Felicia hopes to be able to hold themed retreats based on her books’ characters as soon as the pandemic is over.
Felicia also created a free ebook called Fearless to help people overcome fear of failures and develop a successful mindset, which is available on her website. People who are ready to make some changes in their lives but are not sure where to start should download the free ebook, listen to her podcast interviews, and schedule a private coaching session with her. Connect with Felicia through her website, Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram account.
